When the students came in Ares was sitting at the front of the room throwing energy bolts at a number of scurrying action figures, whenever one connected he would start giggling in a most ungod-like manner.

When he finally noticed his class, Ares stood up. "Firstly, I would just like to say that anyone who wants detention for the rest of the semester just has to mention last weekend, white leather, or the L-word."

"Now that we've got that out of the way, Today we are going to be talking about Zeus and Hera, the King and Queen of the Gods, and my parents, so no disrespect from you brats."

Aphrodite	If the class had been paying any attention to Ares, they would have noticed a blonde woman appear in a brilliant flash of pink light and glitter behind him.
Ares	Ares stopped mid-sentence. "Oh, no."
Aphrodite	Which would be when the blonde tackled Ares with a hug. "Ar!" she squealed happily.
Ares	"Aphrodite," Ares replied flatly, returning the hug awkwardly. "What are you doing here?"
Aphrodite	"Visiting you silly," Aphrodite replied.
Ares	"Why right now?" Ares asked. "Can't you see I'm in the middle of class?"
Aphrodite	"I can see that," Aphrodite said and waved to the class. "Hey little dudes and babes." "That's why I'm here, I hear you were teaching a class about the fam and thought I could give my bro a hand."
Ares	"And how exactly do you propose to do that?" Ares hissed. "They're vicious little vipers who won't listen to the Goddess of Love."
Aphrodite	"You willing to bet on that?"
Ares	"Sure," Ares threw his hands in the air. "Why not?" "Kids," he pointed to the class. "This is my sister, Aphrodite, Goddess of mumble. Play nice with her."
Aphrodite	"Okay, little groovers," Aphrodite, addressed the class. "I'm Aphrodite, Goddess of Love. Now I know what you guys are thinking, how does she get her hair like that? The answer, my friends, is well, Goddess." "Now some of you dudes have the look of being weetiny warrior dudes and babe, and that's cool, but I know that there's often a perception among the sword and leather types of Love being weak," she said. "And I'm afraid that that can't be further from the truth." "Don't believe me?" she said. "Well, you've obviously never seen the results of unconstrained uncontrolled, overwhelming love, or lust as the case may be, why I remember the time someone-who-shall-remain-nameless got hold of my baby boy Cupid's arrows..." Aphrodite stopped as a wee glittery lightbulb went off over her head. "Dudes, I have has the most bodacious idea, instead of me telling you about this kind of thing, we're going to demonstrate." She turned to Ares. "Bro, you got a class list?"
Ares	From over at his desk where he'd started drinking heavily when the lightbulb went off, Ares gestured and the roster appeared in glowing letters.
Aphrodite	Aphrodite clicked her fingers a second list of names appeared next to the first. "Okay, student dudes, you see the name after yours?" Aphrodite asked. "For the rest of the class, you are madly, deeply in love and-slash-or lust with that person, and you want nothing more than to be with that person, not dirty. Okay, you're not really, but I want you all to act like you are to the best of your abilities." "Got that? Rock on."

It was a good thing Cam was on his cold meds or there would have been a whole lot of flailing going on. As it was, he looked pretty resigned to being 'pursued' as long as it meant that he could go to sleep afterwards.

After nearly freaking out for about five minutes over this activity Liz finally decided that she should at least attempt it, "um...hi" she said awkwardly as she went over to Cam.

"Yo," Cameron greeted. "As you're not Rory, I'm assuming you're Liz."

"Yeah I'm Liz," Liz nodded, "it's nice to meet you,"

"Same here," Cameron smiled at her, trying to be reassuring. "So got any good one liners to sweep me off my feet?"

"Be still my fluttering heart," Rory greeted him.

"Nice opening," Cameron remarked. "Very professional."

"Oh, I can't be professional around you," she replied. "I start out all proper and by the end of my sentences, I've gotten myself all wrapped up mentally in the color of your eyes or something."

It should be noted that Rory was clearly trying not to laugh through this.

Cameron bit his lip and looked down for a moment to keep from laughing himself. "I'm sorry, that must be distracting." Yeah, he had no clue what to say to that either.

"Very, but that's okay," she said with a tiny snort. "It's a welcome distraction."

"I guess," he deadpanned. "Fandom's pretty dull so you've got to keep busy somehow."

Rory bit her lip. "I'm not going to take the obvious pun there," she said in an undertone. More loudly, she added, "Fandom is beautiful and scintillating and wonderful, as long as you're here."

Cameron snorted. "I think that's the first time I've heard anyone say scintillating out loud. You should get bonus points for that."

"I did score fifteen-eighty on my SATs," she said with a small smirk. "My vocabulary probably expands in your presence. You inspire me!"

"I feel honoured getting wooed so eloquently," Cameron said, trying to go for the bigger words.

"Honored enough to allow yourself to actually be wooed? We could run away and be wed in Vegas by tonight," she said, waggling her eyebrows and letting a giggle escape.

Cameron looked thoughtful. "I don't know. Vegas is so cheap. I feel eloping should have a little more class than that."

She raised her eyebrows. "Did you have another location in mind?"

He held up his hands and shrugged. "I'm not the one being wooed here."

"Fine, we're going to Paris," she decided. "City of love, et cetera."

Cameron grinned. "Fancy. I can dig that. Will there be candle light dinners?"

"And violinists," she promised.

"That's really hard to say no to," he relented.
