Creative Writing, Period 6 1/24

Yuki seemed to be in an almost pleasant mood today. He stands to begin his lecture, “Good afternoon. I hope none of you suffered a large amount of psychological trauma this past weekend, and if you have, think of it as good writing material.”

“Today we’re going to look in depth into the most important base for a story. Good characters. They’re more important than the setting, or plot. Once you have solid characters, the rest will work itself out. Today is the first day you’re going to work on your final piece. I want you to create two firm characters and submit them to me by the end of class with a short description of each.”

“This doesn’t have to be final, but I want you to begin creating the characters that are going to drive your story. I also what you to doodle the two characters that you’re submitting, just because.” Just because he wants to laugh at your art skills. To himself later on, of course. “Oh and Hoodie-Brain, you don’t need to draw the character along the lines.”

((OOC: Sorry for putting this up a bit late, I’ve got a busy day today since I’m going to see Wicked with my family, I’ll be on tonight however to pick up any and all tags))

Yuki was trying to ignore all this stuffed animal crap, because drawing attention to it would just distract everyone more. And Yuki... happened to keep a seam ripper in his desk. He pulled it out quite obviously and hoped those stuffed animals would get the picture.

His entire demeanor changed. He tried to be as cute as possible, doing little somersaults and much twirling. It seemed he had forgotten about the pony and now concentrated on impressing its owner.

Nadia smiled at the little turtle.

The pony might have actually growled.

The pony spotted the seam ripper. "That man is not nice or happy," it hissed to Nadia in warning.

Nadia shoved it roughly out of the way and tried to keep taking notes.

The turtle may not have noticed the immediate danger, but Nova had. He opened up a portal, which the little turtle seemed to disappear into. The turtle reappeared at Nova desk and was promptly given another scolding look.
