Creative Writing, Period 6 1/24
Yuki seemed to be in an almost pleasant mood today. He stands to begin his lecture, “Good afternoon. I hope none of you suffered a large amount of psychological trauma this past weekend, and if you have, think of it as good writing material.”
“Today we’re going to look in depth into the most important base for a story. Good characters. They’re more important than the setting, or plot. Once you have solid characters, the rest will work itself out. Today is the first day you’re going to work on your final piece. I want you to create two firm characters and submit them to me by the end of class with a short description of each.”
“This doesn’t have to be final, but I want you to begin creating the characters that are going to drive your story. I also what you to doodle the two characters that you’re submitting, just because.” Just because he wants to laugh at your art skills. To himself later on, of course. “Oh and Hoodie-Brain, you don’t need to draw the character along the lines.”
((OOC: Sorry for putting this up a bit late, I’ve got a busy day today since I’m going to see Wicked with my family, I’ll be on tonight however to pick up any and all tags))

Re: During the Lecture
Re: During the Lecture
Re: During the Lecture
The little plushie gave Yuki a cold stare, at least as cold a stare as a cute little turtle could give anyone.
Re: During the Lecture
I'm looking at you, turtle. What are you gonna do about it, huh?
...Turtle was in a strange mood today.
Re: During the Lecture
Nova stared in surprise.
Re: During the Lecture
"Hi, little Turtle," she whispered when it came closer, with a dart of her eyes to where Mr. Yuki was still babbling on about character development or something stupid like that. "I'm...bigger Turtle."
Re: During the Lecture
Nova was trying to figure out what to do if his plushie got violent again.
Re: During the Lecture
"What?" she whispered a challenge. "I'm bigger than you, so I win."
Re: During the Lecture
He thought the best thing to do now was try to get on her good side. He turned back now, trying to look as harmless and cute as possible. He even did a few somersaults.
Re: During the Lecture
...it was pretty cute, though. And she did want to see more somersaults, because he was pretty good at them.
Re: During the Lecture
Where exactly were the controls on one of these things? There had to be some way to harness Turtle's great size for his bidding.
Re: During the Lecture
"Hey!" she whispered to it. "Get offa me!"
Why wasn't weird hood kid doing anything to keep his turtle in control? Honestly! Ohhhhh, if that turtle so much as even thought about touching her braid....She quickly flung a little ball of paper at Nova's head. "Hey! Nova! Get your turtle under control!"
Re: During the Lecture
Trying not to disturb the entire class, he opened up a small portal on his desk, one large enough for his arm to fit inside.
He reached down, and another portal seemed to appear behind big Turtle so that Nova could grab little turtle before it tried to possibly dive down the back of Turtle's shirt.
Re: During the Lecture
Because...oh my God, what the heck? She tried not to squirm at the creepy hand coming out of the weird portal thing. As if that freak wasn't weird enough!
Re: During the Lecture
The little turtle hung his little arms over the edge of Nova's desk, frowning at the floor as if saying 'You never let me have any fun'. Nova gave the turtle a soft pat on the head.
