Music is Love [1/19]: Period Two
The introduction music begins as Lorne appears on the stage in a flash of light.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! CHILDREN OF ALL AGES! DEMONS WHO CAN CARRY A TUNE! THIS IS MUSIC IS LOVE!"
Lorne then turned and looked at the camera. "Ryan Seacrest? Eat your heart out."
"Today our class will be focusing on the theme of "Blood, Ammo and Ice" in honor of our guest judges Emily Frostburn and Wading Pool!"
Lorne then gestured over to the judges table where (most likely) they were wondering what the heck Lorne was thinking.
"Let's get this class started kids! Who's up first?"
[Waits for the OCD is up!]
[ETA: *facepalms* Credit for today's class theme goes to the wonder
likeasponge whom I've forgotten to credit twice now. *hides from hair product packaging thrown in my general direction]

Re: Sing: [1/19]
Anything you can do I can do better,
I can do anything better than you
Re: Sing: [1/19]
No, you can't!
Re: Sing: [1/19]
Yes, I can!
Re: Sing: [1/19]
Re: Sing: [1/19]
Re: Sing: [1/19]
Re: Sing: [1/19]
Re: Sing: [1/19]
Anything you can be, I can be greater.
Sooner or later, I'm greater than you!
Re: Sing: [1/19]
No, you're not!
And then they sang the chorus in a manner that was even dorkier and louder than the last time, yet somehow more entertaining than, for instance, reading about it would be.
Re: Sing: [1/19]
She points at Jo, then mimes firing a gun into the air.
I can shoot a partridge with a single cartridge!
Re: Sing: [1/19]
She put her hands on her hips and raised an eyebrow.
I can get a sparrow with a bow and arrow
Re: Sing: [1/19]
So she just crosses her arms and sings I can live on bread and cheese!
Re: Sing: [1/19]
And only on that?
Re: Sing: [1/19]
Re: Sing: [1/19]
Then she made little squeaking noises.
Re: Sing: [1/19]
Then she turns to the audience.
"While I have your attention, I'd like to point out that while rats are very amazing and adaptable creatures and can live on bread and cheese, it's hardly a proper diet for them. They like vegetables, oats, seeds, yoghurt drops, and bits of coconut Bounty Bars." She tilts her head. "So do I, actually."
Then she bows. "Thank you; this has been the boring educational portion of our performance. We now return you to the silly song, already in progress."
Any note you can reach, I can go higher!

Re: Sing: [1/19]
It was possible that several of the windows in the classroom now had cracks.
Re: Sing: [1/19]
...Then she screams into the microphone.
She has a remarkable scream: it can, with no artificial assistance, go through your head like a new power drill with a bone-saw attachment. And amplified, it is simply
a paragraph taken directly from canon and transposed into present-tenseunearthly.The torch goes out in the Statue of Liberty, and birds in Australia randomly start moulting.
Re: Sing: [1/19]
not dirty."Rather than try and top that, she launched into the next verse.
Anything you can buy I can buy cheaper
I can buy anything cheaper than you
Re: Sing: [1/19]
A lot.
It's safe to say her sinuses are probably clear now too.
Nobody said pulling off that scream was without a price.
Fifty cents! she croaks.
Re: Sing: [1/19]
Forty cents!
Re: Sing: [1/19]
Half of which she pours down her throat and half of which she splashes on her face.
When she makes it back up onto the stage, there's water dripping from her hair, but she looks.... well, fractionally more awake.
Anything you can say, I can say softer.... she whispers into the microphone.
Re: Sing: [1/19]
I can say anything softer than you
