Fitness - Monday Period 3

"Morning Everyone!" Yondaime smiled brightly as he walked into class. "I hope everyone's first week has gone well. I still don't have the syllabus' ready for you, but I promise they will be in by the end of the week, I have something tentative but I'd like to discuss it further with all of you." The blond explained, as he sat down on the gym floor handing out the clip board with the sign in.

Next Yondaime handed out a small, handwritten and photocopied list of possible topics for them to cover over the quarter.

"Now as you can see I've included quite a few different marital arts that I thought seemed interesting as well as some sports that we don't really need teams to play. Is there anything else at all that you'd like to see on here?" He asked pulling out a notepad to take notes. "If there aren't any suggestions, I've got some cadrio run exercises and laps we all can do."

Kabuto glanced over the list, then looked at Yondaime with a raised eyebrow. "...You're not going to teach your own specialty? Isn't that what they hired you for, Hokage-sensei?"

He wouldn't react, not violently at least. Instead he opted to ignore Kabuto until the boy addressed him correctly.

Kabuto considered that to be a point in his favor. "So, I take it it's up to me to run any sort of course in taijutsu, ninjutsu, and genjutsu if they're requested?" He examined the metal plating on the back of one of his gloves. "I'm no expert in taijutsu, but I suppose if you don't feel up to it, I'll be a sufficient substitute."

Yondaime took a deep breath, giving out a some what pained sigh. "I will only teach those if everyone in the class wishes to participate in it. As TA, it can be your job to ask everyone, then they can come to tell me their decision."

Shaking his head, Kabuto heaved a longsuffering sigh. "...All three of them? Really, Hokage-sensei. Don't you think you're being a bit lazy, making me do this?"

"Indulge me."

Both eyebrows shot up, hidden under the sound ninja's headband. "...Are we allowed to do that? I thought student-teacher relations were taboo here?" He smirked, shaking his head. "I know you once seduced your other silver-haired student, but...I'm flattered, Hokage-sensei. Really." Hi, buttons! Push push push!

Yondaime's jaw DROPPED. His mind couldn't quite wrap around what Kabuto just said. "Kabuto..." He mumbled, taking a deep breath and rubbing the bridge of his nose. "I really hope that you didn't have plans this weekend. Cause you're going to have dentention agian."

Kabuto gave him an innocent smile. "Oh, good. I was hoping you'd say something like that. We killed people last time; it was fun."

"When was detention supposed to be fun? Did I miss a memo on that?" He mummbled to himself, rubbing his neck. "Well, I... I'm sure that won't be the case this time. So, don't look forward to it."

"Don't worry, I will." Kabuto waved a hand slightly. "So when will you being doing detention, Hokage-sensei? I'll be sure to be awarded it, then."

"I don't know yet." He said honestly, watching Kyou run to make sure he did the runs he asked him to. He glanced up at Kabuto. "Don't you have your fellow students to poll?"

"Maybe," Kabuto replied with a shrug. "If they show up." He turned and walked away to do something else.

Sakura paused in the doorway of the class, a funny little frown on her face. "Um," she said, and held up the slip of paper in her hand. "Excuse me,"

Glancing over his shoulder to make sure everything was well with the class, Yondaime put on a small smile and went over to the girl in the doorway. "Yes? Can I help you?"

Absently, her hand squeezed around Edward's arm some. "...uhm, we have this... note." She held it out to him. "From Dean Washburn. We've been put in your class on account of you having very few students."

Yondaime slumped slightly seeing and reading the note, but he put on a smile. "Well, in that case, welcome to the class Sakura. We're glad to have you." She honestly didn't look like much of a fighter, but girls really surprised him in the past and there were the sports to do as well.

Sakura smiled a little, understanding his lack of faith in girls for a fitness class. She may not have been a fighter, so to speak, although she was athletic and getting much better with the Sword card, but she supposed he also didn't expect her to own a deck of magical cards.

Edward kind of peered around Sakura, frowning at how empty the room was. Well, any class where he got to beat people up was his sort of class so he wasn't exactly compaining, but still. There was a dearth of available people to beat up on.

Yondaime recognized the blond and smiled. "Hello Ed," he nodded. "Are you joining the class as well?"

"Oh, hay." Edward perked up a little, seeing Yondaime. "Sorry I bailed on your class last semester... thought I'd make it up this time around." As if he hadn't been dragged here, unwillingly, out of the library. "That okay with you?"

"Fine with me," he shrugged with a smile. "And don't worry about, I had things that I had to bail on too last semester. Should be interesting this time around."

"Not teaching your own specialty, Professor?"

"Yes and no," he answered truthfully. "Doing the research I've found that jujutsu is very similar to the fighting style from my world without any of the chakra power-ups that people might not be able to access."

You can still run laps iff'n you want to.

If the argument between Kabuto and Yondaime was going to be anything like last time, Kyo didn't want to get involved. Instead, he started stretching for his laps.

Yondaime looked up as he notcied Kyo stetching to do laps. "Kyo, if you're going to run laps, don't do more than five and try to do at least one lap of knee-ups and one of butt kickers, okay?" He smiled and went back to talking to Kabuto.

Gwynn decided to run laps as she tried to get her mind to gigure out the different topics on the list the instructor had handed out.

If you want to talk to him away from the class.

GAAAAAHHHH. Posting a class in a 15 mintue break at work SUCKS!

Oh yeah, slow play because I am at work ^^;;

I'ma wait until later on(when I can drag Ed along with me) to toss Sakura in, 'kay? Prolly around 6 or 7 EST. Sound okay? ^_^

Sounds fine! XD That's about 4 my time, so I'll just be getting off of work.
