"Which is cool in it's own way," Cally said with a little smile. "Are you classless today?"

"Totally free," Mac replied. "I basically get a four day weekend," she continued as she picked at her salad.

"That's ridiculous," Cally said. "Slacker."

Mac gasped in mock offense. "Am not," she declared.

"Are too," Cally said. "But you're cute so I can forgive that."

"How much can I get away with on those grounds, anyway?" Mac asked curiously.

"Ummm... cause you're you... pretty much anything," Cally said.

Mac smiled. "Reaally," she drawled. It's not like she's particularly intending to take advantage of that, but it's fun anyway. "Wow. I'll have to remember that."

"Anything for my hero," Cally said, before poking at her salad some more.

"I keep telling you, I didn't do anything heroic," Mac reminded her.

"And I keep saying, you did," Cally said. "And I'm right."

"You're not gonna be persuaded otherwise, are you?" Mac said, with a little smile at Cally. She sighed, "I guess I'm going to have to deal with that one."

"You should be proud and stuff," Cally said. "I should make you a t-shirt."

"If making t-shirts is what you want to do," Mac said. "Then I'm not going to stop you." She shrugged and smiled at Cally. She seemed to like making shirts, and if that was what made her happy Mac would go along with it.

"Marty will be displeased that he's been dethroned," Cally joked.

Mac tried a bit more of her salad, before giving up, because it really wasn't that good. "You think maybe he'd be willing to share the honour?" she asked.

Cally got a bad-wrong image in her head. "No sharing!"

"Okay, then," Mac said carefully. "In that case, he's just going to have to deal with it."

"Sorry. Dirty mind syndrome," Cally said, poking at her salad. "This... really isn't that good."

"It's cafeteria food," Mac pointed out. "If it was actually good, it would be a miracle."

"Well, no shouting hallelujah from me," Cally said. "Tommorow? We are so hitting Luke's for some veggie burgers."

"Best idea ever," Mac said putting her fork down. "The last time I was there, I was five, and he made good vegan food."

"I think someone else runs it now," Cally said with a bit of a frown. "But the principle should still apply?"

"He maybe passed on recipes, or something," Mac said hopefully. "I'm sure they'll still taste good anyway."
