Cally grabbed a good deal of salad and sat down at a table. She was getting more confident and less jumpy by the hour, really. She'd feel totally safe and fine by the evening, she assured herself. Just in time to go confront Bel about that amulet thing.

The cafeteria appears to have something definitely vegan-friendly today, of course Mac's there.

... Okay, mostly she's there for Cally, but she does have salad. "Hey, you," Mac said as she took a seat next to her.

"Hey," Cally said, before yawning a little. "DAMM class is robbing me of my sleep."

"That's very antisocial of it," Mac remarked. "Was it at least relatively interesting?" she asked spearing a piece of lettuice with her fork.

"We did hand gestures," Cally said. "That's the latest and greatest in magical defense."

Mac looked a little skeptical of that. "I've never found flapping my hands at stuff particularly effective," she said. "Then again, I know next to nothing about magical defense."

"Which I'm thinking might be as much as my teacher knows," Cally said. "Maybe. The jury is still out, I think."

"I guess... he's trying?" Mac said in an attempt to be positive. "And if nothing else, you have a final you can pass with shadow puppetry and chocolate."

"Which is cool in it's own way," Cally said with a little smile. "Are you classless today?"

"Totally free," Mac replied. "I basically get a four day weekend," she continued as she picked at her salad.

After thinking it over for a long time, River decided for seled with jellu, although it looked a bit odd togther. She found a free table and sat down.

Standing in line to get her Peezza, French Freees, and Jellu; Maia waved happily at River.

River grinned and waved back. Maia was welcome to share the table should she want to.

Maia paid for her lunch and headed over. "Hey. How are you?" She said with a broad smile.

"Good," River said. "And you? The Jellu is a bit odd today."

Maia examined her peezzaa, "I think all of it's a bit odd everyday." She laughed, "Once last semester he served Chocolate Mousse with hooves in it."

"That's odd," River agreed. She looked at Maia. "You knew another me, didn't you?"

Maia nodded as she took a bite of her French Freee. "I did, you-or...well she was my roommate."

"Oh," River said. "Was she... like me?" She glanced a little nervously at Maia.

Flynn grabbed a slice of peezza and some french freees and sat down at a quiet table in the corner.

Normally, he didn't think it was proper for teachers and students to dine in the same room, but he had been cooped up for too long without some interaction.

And he had heard about the food, and not tried it yet.
So he just settled down and ate quietly, hoping no-one would notice him.

"You know, this is why they have the teacher's lounge," the Doctor said, sitting down across from Flynn. "Mind you, don't think they're going to kick us out if we present a united front."

Flynn looked at the Doctor.

"Yes, well... the air is a bit... stale in there." Flynn smiled.
"Plus, I get to keep in touch with the modern generation."

"Oh, of course the lounge is a bit stuffy. Got a lode of old teachers in there," the Doctor joked. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance. I'm The Doctor."

"Kevin Flynn. Most people just call me Flynn." He liked this odd little man,
and expected that it had something to do with his open friendly grin.

"And most just call me 'Doctor'," he said. "Unless they're clamoring for my death, than it's usually just 'grrr, arrgh, kill him!' and the like. Not real nice of them, so I'm glad most friendly types call me by my name."
