Music is Love! [1/12] - Period Two

Those students returning to the music classroom from last semester will find that it has been transformed into what appears to be a television studio.

Right as the class bell ring the theme song beings to play and Lorne bursts onto the stage to the sound of canned applause.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to MUSIC IS LOVE!" Lorne exclaimed. "We would have called it Fandom Idol but Fox Executives threatened to sue."

Lorne gave the camera a glaring look. "Simon Cowell? When this is over your ass is mine. And not in the fun way."

After the laugh track ends, Lorne suddenly smiles, "For those of you of you who are unfamiliar how this class works, each week you will be responsible for finding and performing a song that goes with a certain theme. This week our theme is 'JUSTICE' which just happens to go along with our fabulous guest judges: Dean the Tick and Captain Liberty!"

Lorne gestures over to the Judges table where the The Tick and Captain Liberty are sitting. Canned applause occurs.

"Now let's get things started ramped up! C'mon kids! Let's see what you got!"

[ooc: Wait for the OCD is up!]

[ooc2: And anyone who would like to be bitten by our surprise guest stars should do so now! :)

Door waves. "I'm D--- uh, Entrance, and I'm here to sing a song about taking justice into your own hands."

She's not always in key, but she's... enthusiastic. And singing the word 'Bubba' with a London accent.

We were all down at Margie's bar
Telling stories if we had one.
Someone fired the old jukebox up-
The song, it sure was a sad one.
A teardrop rolled down Bubba's nose
From the pain the song was inflicting
And all at once he jumped to his feet
Just like somebody kicked him!

Bubba shot the juke box last night,
Said it played a sad song, made him cry.
Went to his truck and got a forty five

Bubba ain't never been accused of being mentality stable
So we did not draw an easy breath
Until he laid that Colt on the table!
He hung his head till the cops showed up;
They dragged him right out of Margie's.
Told him "Don't play dumb with us, son,
Y'know damn well what the charge is."

Said it played a sad song, made him cry.
Went to his truck and got a forty five
Bubba shot the juke box last night.

Well, the sheriff arrived with his bathrobe on;
The confrontation was a tense one.
Shook his head, said, "Bubba Boy,"
You was always a dense one.
Reckless discharge of a gun,
That's what the officers are claimin'."

Bubba hollered, "Reckless! Hell!
I hit just where I was aimin'!"

Bubba shot the juke box last night,
Said it played a sad song, made him cry.
Went to his truck and got a forty five...

Well, he could not tell right from wrong
Through the teardrops in his eyes.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt,
It was a justifiable homicide!

Stopped it with one shot--

Door curtseys. "Thank you, Dean Tick! I'll remember your kind words of encouragement when I become a famous country and western star." Yes, she's completely aware of how out of tune she was. No, she doesn't giggle. On the outside.
