Music is Love! [1/12] - Period Two

Those students returning to the music classroom from last semester will find that it has been transformed into what appears to be a television studio.

Right as the class bell ring the theme song beings to play and Lorne bursts onto the stage to the sound of canned applause.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to MUSIC IS LOVE!" Lorne exclaimed. "We would have called it Fandom Idol but Fox Executives threatened to sue."

Lorne gave the camera a glaring look. "Simon Cowell? When this is over your ass is mine. And not in the fun way."

After the laugh track ends, Lorne suddenly smiles, "For those of you of you who are unfamiliar how this class works, each week you will be responsible for finding and performing a song that goes with a certain theme. This week our theme is 'JUSTICE' which just happens to go along with our fabulous guest judges: Dean the Tick and Captain Liberty!"

Lorne gestures over to the Judges table where the The Tick and Captain Liberty are sitting. Canned applause occurs.

"Now let's get things started ramped up! C'mon kids! Let's see what you got!"

[ooc: Wait for the OCD is up!]

[ooc2: And anyone who would like to be bitten by our surprise guest stars should do so now! :)

As Alec settled into the dramatic back-and-forth of the last few lines, swaying and using hand motions to indicate his amazing plan, a horde of gremlins poured from the vent to accompany him, chirping in approximation of English where appropriate.

"So prepare for the coup of the century
(Oooh!)
Be prepared for the murkiest scam
(Oooh... La! La! La!)
Meticulous planning
(We'll have food!)
Tenacity spanning
(Lots of food)
Decades of denial
(We repeat)
Is simply why I'll
(Endless meat)
Be king undisputed
(Aaaaaaah...)
Respected, saluted
(...aaaaaaah...)
And seen for the wonder I am
(...aaaaaaah!)
Yes, my teeth and ambitions are bared
(Oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo)
Be prepared!"

The gremlins all danced to the front of the stage and 'sang' to the audience:

Yes, our teeth and ambitions are bared -
Be prepared!

As the song ended, the gremlins froze, smiling at the class with their big, sharp, dripping with gremlin venom teeth.
