Music is Love! [1/12] - Period Two

Those students returning to the music classroom from last semester will find that it has been transformed into what appears to be a television studio.

Right as the class bell ring the theme song beings to play and Lorne bursts onto the stage to the sound of canned applause.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to MUSIC IS LOVE!" Lorne exclaimed. "We would have called it Fandom Idol but Fox Executives threatened to sue."

Lorne gave the camera a glaring look. "Simon Cowell? When this is over your ass is mine. And not in the fun way."

After the laugh track ends, Lorne suddenly smiles, "For those of you of you who are unfamiliar how this class works, each week you will be responsible for finding and performing a song that goes with a certain theme. This week our theme is 'JUSTICE' which just happens to go along with our fabulous guest judges: Dean the Tick and Captain Liberty!"

Lorne gestures over to the Judges table where the The Tick and Captain Liberty are sitting. Canned applause occurs.

"Now let's get things started ramped up! C'mon kids! Let's see what you got!"

[ooc: Wait for the OCD is up!]

[ooc2: And anyone who would like to be bitten by our surprise guest stars should do so now! :)

Cassie tentatively got up at the microphone. She was wearing a red cotton dress and a pearl necklace. And really nasty steel toed boots.

One of the bests thing about being able to change your size? Most costumes can end up fitting properly.

"Ummmm, this is a song about recognizing true heroes," she announced, before the music started.

He's an accountant who works for the council
He adds and subtracts and records the amounts 'til
The clock strikes five and he returns home
To prepare for the nighttime to defend this city alone
Like a flash and he's gone, like a spark and he's there
With his pearls 'round his neck and the wind in his hair
With nerves made of steel, and his dress made of cotton
He hands out the justice and rights all that's rotten
The thieves they all fear him, the thugs they do too
He defends the defenseless, he uses conditioning shampoo.

Ladyma-ha-an, Ladyman
Ladyma-ha-an, Ladyman
He's Ladyman

Now to some he might seem like an ordinary guy
Who dresses like a woman and flies in the sky
He's a modern day hero who's fighting for us
So give him your seat when he gets on the bus
He'll apprehend bad guys, he'll take them to jail
When crooks smell his perfume they start to turn pale
He's dissed that he's crimefighting dresswearing male
His cape's by Chenille, he bought it on sale
He'd be here now but he just broke a nail

Ladyma-ha-an, Ladyman
Ladyma-ha-an, Ladyman
He's Ladyman

This season someone will end all the hurt
Cause this season justice wears a skirt
Now I confess with a hand made of steel
We salute you, we salute you, Ladyman!

"Thank you Mr. Lorne!" Cassie said, doing a bit of a curtsy.

"Excellent performance, Classy! Very possibly the best so far this morning! Although I'm not sure if the skirt is literal or metaphoric, and that can be confusing."

Cassie thought. "Very good point, Mr. Tick. Thank you."

"Nice job, and I think I've met that superhero," Captain Liberty says. She might check her cell phone to see if his number's in there.

"Thank you, Captain Liberty, ma'am," Cassie said, proudly.
