Bridge bounces in to the library with coffee, excited to be back for the first time since break!

"I guess..." Bridge says, clicking on a link titled Anguish in Aqua.

Silence- the awkward kind that usually involves a tumbleweed rolling by in cheesy cartoons.

And then the slight chime indicating that he's sent an instant message with the URL to the aforementioned fanfic over to Conner.

Sometimes, you really should know better than to click on links when the rolling-tumbleweed silence precedes them. You really should.

Conner clicks anyway.

"I so totally jinxed it oh my god what the hell brain bleach now OW FISHHOOK OW."

"Sandpaper," Bridge mutters, dropping his head to the counter with a thud and reaching out to push his laptop away.

Because that's easier than just closing the window, apparently.

"I think I just felt the last shred of my innocence being ripped away." Conner is staring at his laptop as if it's betrayed him.

"I say we delete our browser histories and then never speak of this again," Bridge says vehemently. He doesn't actually move to do so yet, though.

"Right there with you, dude." Conner moves to click on his drop-down menu . . . and pauses.

"Oh my god there's a sequel."

"Why?" Bridge punctuates this question by banging his head on the counter. "Why, why, why?" Bang, bang, bang.

Conner isn't even bothering to headdesk. He's just slumped in his chair with his head dangling back over the top of it, making tiny whimpering sounds.

Yomiko peered out of the disaster area that was her office to ask, "Is there a problem, boys?"

Nothing but a few strangled noises from where Conner's sitting.

Except possibly a very faint "Brain bleach . . . please?"
