Still bouncy from the party yesterday, Bridge wanders in to the library, awkwardly balancing a rather large box full of...stuff.

The stuff? Hanukkah presents of course, which he's currently wrapping while sitting at the front desk.

Still wrapping presents, and trying to ignore the sounds of a minor scuffle in the stacks.

That minor scuffle? Has gradually gotten louder and louder. And now Bridge can see that the source of the scuffle is the first four volumes of the Encyclopaedia Britannica, hurtling towards him at an alarming rate.

Having managed to wrangle the encyclopedia volumes in to a bin of returns, Bridge is back to wrapping presents and trying to ignore the thumping noises the books are making as they try to escape.

Alanna came into the library, a small present in her hand.

"Alanna!" Bridge looks up from his present-wrapping. "Hi!"

Alanna waved with a bandage wrapped hand. "Hey Bridge!"

Lunch! A picture book attempts to attack Bridge, but he manages to dissuade it with an offer of jellybeans. What a book is going to do with a pile of jellybeans, he doesn't know.

Bridge is frantically trying to study for Hunting. It's made somewhat difficult by the fact that his notebook keeps trying to fly up in to his face.

Before she headed to Astronomy, Parker stopped by the Library, in time to plant a hand on the notebook. "Hey, Bridge."

"Hey, dude." Bridge says. "Thanks," he rolls his eyes at the notebook.

Parker grinned. "No problem. I've only got one Final left next period, I'm desperately grateful I don't have to deal with these after that." She kept her elbows on the book, and said, "Sooooo. Did you, maybe, have time in between birthdays and invasions and getting hurt to work on the little project I commissioned last? It's okay if you didn't."

"What do you think kept me from going stir-crazy while I was practically trapped in my room?" Bridge asks with a grin.

"Wooo!" Parker raised her arms in victory, then slammed her hands back down on the book to keep it from flying away. "You and Willow have that Hannukah thing tonight, right? I was going to give you your Hannukah prezzie tonight, could I pick it up then?"

"Sure," Bridge says with a nod. "I can do that."

"Perfect." Parker grinned widely, looking thrilled. "Better than Christmas and Hannukah." She smiled at him, then pointed to the book, "How go Finals, anyway?"

"Pretty good," Bridge says. "Hunting's more of a practical than a written final, but still. Reading up on various exorcism rituals definitely won't hurt."

"I would guess not. There's a class where it's a good thing they don't let you do this stuff in the field first." She cocked her head. "So what have you and Willow got planned for tonight? I've never celebrated Hannukah."

"The most important thing is the food," Bridge says solemnly.

"Oh, really? I think I like the ways of your people. Tell me more."

Still studying! There was a brief incident with the pen trying to write on his hands, but apparently it realised that there's no colour of ink that will show up on black gloves, and gave up.

Bridge is off in Hunting. Perhaps someone else can help you?

*runs away to work now*

*does not sneak silver paintmarker into library, which will totally write on black gloves*
