Hunting 101 - Class 15 Final Exam (Wednesday, period 7)

When the students entered the Danger Shop they found themselves in a foyer of a large lavish house. There is a staircase going upstairs on the left hand side and on the right a large set of double doors through which could be heard the sounds of music and people talking.

John was leaning against the bottom of the staircase railing. "Good afternoon," he said. "Welcome to your final exam. Beyond those doors over there a party is going on. Unfortunately, it's been invaded by demons, who have possessed one or more party goers. Your final test is to find the demon, trap and exorcise it." He smiled faintly. "You do have one advantage -- the room at the end of the hall at the top of the stairs has a Devil's Trap from the Key of Solomon on the ceiling. There are also various supplies, in a chest in the corner."

John stepped forward and glanced over all of the students. "This is our last class and I'd like to take the opportunity to let you know how much I enjoyed teaching you. I hope you never need to use what you've learned here, but if you do, I know you'll be prepared."

"And now," John grinned wolfishly. "Who's going demon hunting first?"

[OOC: wait for OCD's are up. Thanks for making my first time running a class such a fun experience. You've all been great! Also if you want to put in a suggestion of what mark you think your character deserves, that would be helpful. :)]

"Oh yes." He looked around then pointed to a blonde in a low cut tight fitting dress across the room. "That's her over there."

Alec let himself look for a moment before giving the guy a short glance, nodding. "Thanks," he said, smirking as he already began to drift away towards Megan. "I'll see you around."

The woman, Megan, was listening with a polite but bored expression to another young man go on about something or other.

With this many people around, the demon was probably either someone prominent or someone close enough to those who were to have some pull - at least, that made sense to him, so he'd go with that and revise his guess if nothing panned out. So, approaching the girl, Alec smiled at her and ignored the young man, stepping in close to get her attention. "Hi, you're Megan?"

Megan turned to him, smiling slowly as she took a very blatant look up and down Alec. "I'm Megan," she confirmed. "Who are you?"

As much as he thought he could probably have some fun, Alec knew this was, in essence, a mission. He also knew an opportunity when he saw one, so he let his smile widen slightly, flirting. "Christo."

Megan flinched, her eyes going pure black.

Alec noted the change with interest, still smiling. "That's a neat effect," he offered, having another sip of his drink.

Eyes going back to normal, Megan slitted them and stared at Alec thoughtfully. "So you found me. Hurray for you. Doesn't mean you're going to be able to do anything about it."
