Criminal Justice [first period, Tuesday 12/19]

Today, when the students arrived at the Danger Shop for their final, they found it transformed into a cavernous abandoned underground train system.

As they entered, V handed them one of two things: a Super Soaker filled with red dye, or a bag of eight water balloons filled with the same.

"There is protective plastic for your clothing, if you wish it," V said once everyone had their equipment. "The objective is, obviously, to strike someone of the other team before they can do the same to you. Those of you with the water balloons may not reload - those are your only ammunition, and use them well. Those of you with the water guns may reload." He gestured expansively to two large buckets filled with the same dye.

"Water balloon holders, it is your objective to reach the inside of that train." He pointed at a long, silver train with the door cracked slightly. "You may run, hide, and operate in a guerilla fashion, or stand tall and face each other. It is entirely your choice, based on what tactics you choose. At the end of the class, those with little to no dye on them will receive a biscuit." He held up a tin of what appeared to be Christmas cookies.

"Best of luck."

[Okay, so basically, those with the water guns are chasing those with the balloons. You guys have an obvious advantage. Balloon guys, you can hide, duck, trip the others, etc., and make sure your aim is good with those balloons!

Here are the lists of who has what, because V totally has a reason for divvying them up like this:

Super Soakers: Layla, Teddy, Seely, Peter Parker, Peter Pevensie, Bridge, John, Z and Charlie
Water Balloons: Dean, Alec, Bel, Jack, Tyler, Pete, Aeryn, River, Alanna

Have fun, and thank you for being a *great* class. You deserve better than the attention I was able to give you for the past few classes. *hugs*]

John pumped the Super Soaker not dirty and looked for someone to drench.

Dean took stock of their surroundings, then headed into the dark shadowy parts of the tunnel system, judging it would be the best place to hunker down until he got the lay of the land and the 'enemy.'

Aeryn's not used to being the one being chased and she hates the water balloon weapons, but she recognizes her objective and takes off to complete her assignment.

Yeah, this doesn't surprise Aeryn at all, and she stops short until she's clear of the shot, then takes off again.

Layla looked very excited about her Super Soaker, and was running through the class list in her mind, trying to think about who would be the easiest to hit.

Peter inspected his Super Soaker carefully, then primed it, looking for someone to drench.

Jack took his bag of water balloons and moved further into the tunnel. He'd just found a decent place to hide when a small, and admittedly very festive, rain of mini mince pies tumbled down on him.

The mince pies rather caught Peter's attention so he tried to stealthily get closer to Jack before shooting him.

Jack was very distracted by the multiple pies piling up around his feet, so he probably wouldn't have noticed an army marching up to him. "Stupid pies."

Bel carefully set egg-baby Benjamin out of the way. Isabel would kill him if he got him covered with red dye.

He bounced a balloon on his hand. This would be so much easier if he could just shimmer.

Kawalsky didn't waste any time and fired a shot at Bel with his super soaker.

Of course, Bel tried to shimmer. Well, that didn't work.

He frantically dodged out of the way, but some of the dye caught him on the leg. Ducking behind a convenient pile of trash, he popped up and tossed a balloon at Kawalsky.

Z pumped her Super Soaker and looked around for potential targets. She could totally do this.

River tried throwing a balloon at Z while sneaking past.

Z jumped away, but some of the red splattered onto her pantsleg. "Hey!"

Bridge spots Z and moves to stand beside her, his Super Soaker ready to hit any of those water-balloon-having types.

River tried to sneak towards the train, a balloon in one hand and the bag in the other.

Alec hefted a balloon and looked at the distance between him and the train. Blurring might be cheating - or at least not very challenging - but he did like to win when he could.

He settled for darting out quickly in the direction of the train, keeping alert for anyone with a supersoaker who might be taking aim.

Peter once hit a ninja with a well-placed super soaker shot. These people stood no chance.

Even if he hit the ninja by accident.

Both of Alanna's hands were tightly bandaged, so the first water balloon she picked up wound up falling down and making her shoes very wet. After that, she decided that sneaking would be easier.
