Criminal Justice [first period, Tuesday 12/19]

Today, when the students arrived at the Danger Shop for their final, they found it transformed into a cavernous abandoned underground train system.

As they entered, V handed them one of two things: a Super Soaker filled with red dye, or a bag of eight water balloons filled with the same.

"There is protective plastic for your clothing, if you wish it," V said once everyone had their equipment. "The objective is, obviously, to strike someone of the other team before they can do the same to you. Those of you with the water balloons may not reload - those are your only ammunition, and use them well. Those of you with the water guns may reload." He gestured expansively to two large buckets filled with the same dye.

"Water balloon holders, it is your objective to reach the inside of that train." He pointed at a long, silver train with the door cracked slightly. "You may run, hide, and operate in a guerilla fashion, or stand tall and face each other. It is entirely your choice, based on what tactics you choose. At the end of the class, those with little to no dye on them will receive a biscuit." He held up a tin of what appeared to be Christmas cookies.

"Best of luck."

[Okay, so basically, those with the water guns are chasing those with the balloons. You guys have an obvious advantage. Balloon guys, you can hide, duck, trip the others, etc., and make sure your aim is good with those balloons!

Here are the lists of who has what, because V totally has a reason for divvying them up like this:

Super Soakers: Layla, Teddy, Seely, Peter Parker, Peter Pevensie, Bridge, John, Z and Charlie
Water Balloons: Dean, Alec, Bel, Jack, Tyler, Pete, Aeryn, River, Alanna

He smirks and fires a shot in her direction.

Yeah, this doesn't surprise Aeryn at all, and she stops short until she's clear of the shot, then takes off again.

John gives chase, looking for a way to possibly cut her off somewhere up ahead.

She keeps running, keeping as much of an eye on him as she can. Also, it should be noted that she's totally carrying a purse over her just to keep the egg in it. Shhhh.

Aeryn speeds up to avoid the shot, and they are so far away from ever having kids. Like, so far.

John speeds up as well and shoots at the purse again.

"Stop that!" she yells, and ducks out of the way so she can whip a water balloon at him.

The water balloon catches his leg but doesn't slow him that much. Taking the opportunity, he fired off a torrent of water at her while she was throwing the balloon at him.

Aeryn's able to get out of the way except for part of her hand, and she glares. Well, she can't get hit now, she's carrying Egg with her. So she throws another balloon and takes off again.

John jumps over the balloon but then he gets an idea. He pretends to trip, falls against the wall and crumples to the floor.

If he's waiting for her to come to check on him, she throws another water balloon at him to wake him up and keeps running.

If he's hurt, she'll feel bad about it later, but right now she's in fight mode and he's the enemy shooting at her egg baby.

He lets the water balloon hit him and stays down, hoping to play at her tender side.

If he wanted to see a tender side during a battle simulation, he shouldn't have shot at her egg baby. And look, Aeryn's totally making a mad dash for the train.

"Evil!" John says and takes a very well aimed shot at the egg baby from his side.

Aeryn manages to turn so she takes the shot in the hip rather than let the egg baby get hit. And okay, right now she's saying never to children if he's going to be that way.

It takes two seconds to decide she'd still try to run even after getting shot, so she keeps going.

John scrambles to his feet and chases after her, shooting all the while and aiming for her hair this time.
