Intro to 21st Century Pop Culture - Monday, Fifth Period
As the students entered the room, Lorelai handed out candy canes. Once everyone was in and settled, she began speaking.
"I want to thank you all for being such a great class. I've had a lot of fun teaching you all this semester and I hope you learned a lot that will help you get by while you're here. Today is your turn to teach me. Everyone will have a turn to give a presentation on a form of pop culture from their home time or place."
She sat back with a large cup of coffee and a tablet to take notes on the presentations.

Re: Presentations!
"During festivals and national holidays it is common in the Fire Nation for street performers to show off their skills in firebending. They give shapes to the flames and come up with a show to impress their audience. Something like this," he said, stepping back and conjuring up a flame between his hands. He tried to give it the shape of a dragon, but it might have looked more like a wiener dog.
He started moving the flame around him, the flame moving faster as he made it swirl over his head and around his body but he kept it far away enough from the other students. Deciding that should do, he let the flame die down and was already moving to sit back down.
