Ethics [Thursday, December 7th, 6th period]

Krycek waited until everyone had taken a seat before he addressed the class. "So we've covered six of the seven sins," he said. "And now we're on the very last, which apparently was near and dear to our teacher's heart since he devoted an entire class period to it."

He pointed at the board, where WRATH was written in large block letters. "Wrath or anger - an emotional response to a grievance, generally based on the perception of a threat, real or imagined.

"The focus on the syllabus is 'Losing your temper is a good thing'." Krycek smirked. "So tell me why that might be, or why you think he believed that. Or go ahead and argue against it, since I know you will anyway."

"Because sometimes you don't have time for caution, and anger will get you into the battle to use your skill when you would rather not have to be in a battle."

"Anger in battle would impair your judgment, which you need to be able to use any skills to their potential," Krycek pointed out.

Gwynn cocked her head. "Not when you're grossly outnumbered and your army consists of woodsmen vs. the highly trained soldiers of Prince John. In that instance every emotion becomes an asset." She shook her head. "Skill and caution are still good thuings to pay attention to and to have, but sometimes your anger will get you further."

Like when they have kidnapped your father and your uncle...
