Monday, December 4, First Period

There are plenty of bakery items and hot beverages laid out, but the classroom appears to have been rearranged. The chairs and tables are moved to the walls, leaving the center of the room open.

"Good morning, everyone! I want to remind you all that I will be leaving briefly for an assignment. In my absence, Dr Wilson will be conducting class, with the assistance of my TAs. Now today, in lieu of a regular lecture, we're instead going to be rehearsing for the pageant on Friday."

Blair looked a little worried about presenting things in class, but he was there and trying to scribble ideas in a notebook.

Dean would've skipped class if he hadn't been somehow been put in charge of something. He sighed and plopped down beside Blair. "So, got any ideas?"

"Turbans." Blair said absently, still scribbling in his notebook. "Gold turbans and lots of jewelry and anything that looks like Miss Cleo would wear."

"Uh... do we have to wear this too? Because I ain't dressing up like Miss Cleo. But I have no problems making other people do so."

Blair grinned up at Dean. "Man, we're in charge. I think we just get to sit on the sidelines and be bossy."

"So turbans are a go?" Blair asked, giving a bounce.

"Oh hell yeah," Dean said with a smirk, already picturing Sammy's face when he got to see what he had to wear. Not to mention some of their other classmates.

"Any other ideas?" Blair asked, going back to his notebook. "Because I think sticking just turbans on people is not the sort of show Mr. Phale was planning on."

"Big beads." Blair held out his hands. "Like Mardi Gras but only with weird prints and parachute pants. Because nothing says wise man like turbans, beads and parachute pants."

There was a possibility that Blair was having too much fun with this.

"Any chance we can add in really big hoop earrings? Like gypsy fortune tellers would wear? The tackier the better?"

"Good idea!" Blair grinned and wrote that down. "Maybe they could carry crystal balls too."
