Student Council [lunch]

"Mr. Lyman has abandonded us for a far more interesting election and political world, at least for this semester, and so I'll be taking over running these meetings. J,GOB is supporting this meeting through donuts and other random baked goods." Alanna pointed at the two boxes on the desk. "We have nothing major coming up, s'far as I know. So the floor is open to whatever there is to actually discuss. Um...I don't know, upcoming events, Jamie's thing, whatever." She made a flapping motion with her arms. "Go for it."

"Are we doing anything schoolwide for the holidays, other than the pageant?" Tyler ventured. He didn't sound terribly concerned about the answer.

"Tree trimming? Caroling? There's lots of stuff we can be doing," Isabel offered.

"Maybe see if we can get a tree in every common room and have a small party thing for those floor people to decorate it? Not sure what caroling is." Alanna admitted.

"Caroling would be splendid," Peter replied with a grin. "It's where everyone gets together then sings Christmas songs. We could go around to the people in town. Ideally it would snow, but if it doesn't, that would be fine too. And I like the Christmas tree idea very much. Though those that follow other religions might disagree."

Not that he was thinking of anyone in particular.

"Good point. We'll have to make sure to include Hanukkah and and other holidays into the festivities," Isabel agreed.

"Perhaps the trees could be decorated with ornaments from all different religions? And tinsel. There has to be tinsel."
