"Pippi and I are going to conscript Al for our next bit of fun. And then we're going to... ah... not exactly flee the island with you and Pip and maybe Al."

Nadia quirked an eyebrow. ". . . What are you two going to do this time? It'd better not make me miss the weetiny bunnies in top hats."

"There are weetiny bunnies in top hats? I don't want to miss those, either."

"Not yet. But Chad assures me there will be. It's part of his terms of surrender, after all."

"Ah yes, after you defeated him, right? I'm rather fond of weetiny bunnies, so I will definitely have to see that. Do you think we can tie Jamie up and let them use him as a dance floor?"

"He's your roommate, so I'll let you choose. I just like the image of him thrashing and begging for the bunnies' mercy."

"It would totally teach him to set off gravy bombs in the room, if nothing else."

Walter nodded. "Or stuffing garbage under the bed. Anyway, the point was that we want Al to help us with some alterations we want to make to the school's water supply. Just for a short time."

"Hence the escaping? You're not going to turn it into NyQuil, are you?"

Walter made a face. "No. We just want to give it a fragrance. It will still be water. Not like what happened during Logan's stupid curse."

"I suggested sweet for cold and meaty for hot, and Pippi suggested chocolate and salami."

Nadia looked thoughtful.

It was possibly she was imagining chocolate and salami empanadas.

If that were the case, Walter would be happy he didn't read minds, if he only read minds to know he should be happy, but then he would have read her mind and wouldn't be able to be happy....
