Thanksgiving- The cafeteria- Thursday morning till 4 pm FHT

The cafeteria's not exactly decked out, but there are streamers and stuff, and festve tablecloths. That's something. Jaye tried to arrange the tables into one big long table, but that didn't work so well, so it's kind of arranged in a three-sided square shape. A C shape. Whatever.

The kitchen is ready for preparation and cooking, and Jaye hopes everyone keeps it clean because she really doesn't want to clean up.

Outside the cafeteria, in the hall (off to the side where no one will have to step over anyone else), the TV is set up, having been handwavily wingardium leviosaed down from the second floor common room. Chairs have been set up, and cushions have been stolen from various places for people to lounge on. There are also little tables set up with bowls of chips and dip and popcorn and stuff. Enjoy your football.

Welcome to Fandom High Thanksgiving.

[OPEN TO ALL. There will be two posts for this. Both will go up tonight for SP into Friday or so.
Wait for OCD. Play on!]

"Maybe if you just thought of the pagan origins it'd be easier to deal with." he said. "Or listen to Adam Sandler's Channukah song. Over, and over, and over again."

"I just wish we had our own holiday specials," Willow said. "Put Hannukkah Harry next to Rudolph. All I'm saying."

"Rudolph was created by a department store anyway."

"I still feel bad for him with regards to the reindeer games," Willow said. "I realize it works out in the end, but it's still childhood trauma."

Billy couldn't help but smile. Willow had that effect on him it seemed. "I'm sure he exorcised those demons in his memoirs."

"Plus when you only work one day a year there's plenty of time for group therapy," Willow realized.

"Who else do you suppose was in the therapy session?"

"Olive, the other reindeer," Willow said.

Billy, sadly, did not know the words to Rudolph. "Who?"

"Olive, the other reindeer," Willow said. "She always struck me as being very sensitive and caring. I bet she'd be helpful in group."

"I've never heard of her." billy said. "Admittedly my knowledge of such things is limited. None of my foster parents were big on the Western Holidays."

"Mine aren't into Christmas that much either," Willow admitted. "I had to sneak over to Xander's if I wanted to watch any of the holiday specials."

"Well given you celebrate Hannukah I'm not surprised."
