Thanksgiving- The cafeteria- Thursday morning till 4 pm FHT

The cafeteria's not exactly decked out, but there are streamers and stuff, and festve tablecloths. That's something. Jaye tried to arrange the tables into one big long table, but that didn't work so well, so it's kind of arranged in a three-sided square shape. A C shape. Whatever.

The kitchen is ready for preparation and cooking, and Jaye hopes everyone keeps it clean because she really doesn't want to clean up.

Outside the cafeteria, in the hall (off to the side where no one will have to step over anyone else), the TV is set up, having been handwavily wingardium leviosaed down from the second floor common room. Chairs have been set up, and cushions have been stolen from various places for people to lounge on. There are also little tables set up with bowls of chips and dip and popcorn and stuff. Enjoy your football.

Welcome to Fandom High Thanksgiving.

[OPEN TO ALL. There will be two posts for this. Both will go up tonight for SP into Friday or so.
Wait for OCD. Play on!]

"I think I might be spoiled," Greg decided.

"And it's not even Christmas yet," Isabel pointed out, her eyes lighting up. "Are you still going to wear a Santa suit for me?" She glanced over Greg's shoulder at the clock and saw there was still time til the next basting so she gave him another kiss.

"I promised, didn't I?" he asked, careful not to drip butter from his squirt gun on her.

"You did," she nodded. "And I know you will. Do you think I should get a small tree for my room?"

"Can there be tinsel, or will Annie eat it?"

"I don't know. Maybe we can put a few pieces up and see what she does with it?" Isabel wondered. "Remember, I'm new at this being owned by a cat thing."

"I thought kitties liked shiny things. They're like children," Greg mused.

"You're right. Tinsel might be off the list of acceptable decorations. Unless I can get Bridge to somehow add an anti-kitty force field to the tree like he did to my door," she said.

Greg looked thoughtful. "Think he could?"

"Bridge made Xander's phone dispense Twinkies that were bigger then the phone," Isabel explained. "This will be a piece of cake."

"Wow, wish I could break the laws of physics like that," Greg grumbled good-naturedly.

"Don't you do that already?" she asked, reaching up to run her fingers through his hair. "Or is that just the laws of gravity?"

"Oh, true. My hair is amazing," Greg said, preening.

"Absolutely stunning," Isabel agreed. "Now go shoot my turkeys."

With a grin, Greg obliged.

The thing about opening the ovens and basting turkeys? Even when you're using a water gun? It requires bending over. Isabel leaned back and admired the view.
