Journalism Class - Wednesday September 21

All the newsfeeds are on this morning, a different talking head on every wall and a few floating in the air around the classroom. Spider, however, appears to be paying attention to none of it, focus instead riveted on the somewhat complicated game he's playing with two small furry dice and the cat as they both sit atop his desk.

He's wearing an enormous, pointed clown hat and a pair of floppy shoes along with the rest of his normal ensemble and doesn't seem to find anything strange about it.

Once there is a decent-sized group of people in the classroom, Spider mutes the screens. Lighting two cigarettes, one for himself and one for the cat, he gets down to business.

"All right class. Today we're going to learn the value of asking the right questions. You can ask me any two questions about myself and then I want you to sum up what you learned into a single, succinct statement that you could use as a tag-line if you needed to refer to me in an article, say, if you quoted me on something. Something like...." He pursed his lips in thought. "'Stay Froody!' was the final exhortation of this extremely far out alien, wanting to encourage you to do well with your studies now that his career as instellar politician is at an end."

He grinned nastily, "You know, the sort of insipid tag line that the newsies use at the end of their interviews to make sure you've been paying attention. So. Two questions, and use them to construct any ending tag line you like that you feel sums me up. Extra-credit, as always, which can be used toward weaseling out of future homework. You may begin at any time."

Edit: ((OOC: My apologies to the students, but I'm too sick to play, atm. I'll try to finish up class after I get home.))

Duce nods, tilting her head up in contemplation.
"In summation, Professor Jerusalem's tattoos were not the product of poor sight or intoxication."

*waits until she has the professor's attention, takes a deep breath, looks him as square in the eyes as is possible*

My two questions are:

1. The universe as you know it has come to an end. You survive. By some 'cosmic grace', you were given a five minute warning and are able to take three items with you. Name and explain the three items, please sir?

2. Through whatever supernatural convention you chose, you are granted three non-refundable, no strings attached, consequence free wishes - how do you use them?

[ooc: It was the 'normal' that threw me. ;) ]

Though not bound by conventional moral standards, Jerusalem freely admits his pride at seeing his proteges succeed.

Surviving high school requires equal parts preparation and deus ex machina, Jerusalem suggests; for those wishing to survive his wrath, however, the key ingredient is honesty.
