Friday Afternoon Assembly

Josh stood up on the stage, looking distinctly uncomfortable.

It wasn't like someone had given him a microphone and an audience in a while. Not since the whole "secret plan to fight inflation" thing, anyway.

"Welcome to the first game show at Fandom High," he read from his cue card. "Where the questions are just as cracked out as the school." He raised an eyebrow. "Huh. Today we will be vying teachers against students for bragging rights and pie from Jeff, God of Biscuits. The game will be divided into three sections--much like the US government--though the students will be overrepresented because they know that the teachers at this school will kick their butts otherwise with their superior wit and guile."

Josh grinned. "Let the games begin!"

Naomi lost the battle of trying to multitask blowing on the kazoo and keeping her balance at the same time and ended up face first on the stage. After wishing she could sink through said stage, she got back up and resumed the rather bizare dance that she was doing before.

Having finally run out of soap, Zack lured the goat onto the middle of the stage with one of the tutus. Unfortunately, the goat seemed more interested in chasing Zack around the stage and butting him than in the tutu.

Naomi stopped dancing and stared, she only just managed to move out of the way to avoid a collision.

Zack wasn't so lucky and he and the goat went down in a mass of limbs, horns and tulle.

Naomi's natural instinct to help people kicked in then and she went over to help Zack.

"Ow," Zack groaned.

The goat chewed happily on Zack's pant-leg.

Naomi looked at the goat for several seconds before trying to move the goat away from Zack. She was at a loss about how exactly she was supposed to move the goat away when it was intent on staying where it was and nothing that she had read had prepared her for something like this.

Zack flailed at the goat. "The kazoo! Try the kazoo!"

Naomi blinked and blowed on the kazoo as hard as she could, hoping that the noise was enough to distract the goat.

The goat startled at the sound of the kazoo, giving Zack enough time to scramble away from it.

Naomi managed to keep a hold of the goat as Zack got to a safe distance.
