Library [11/1], Evening

Yomiko let herself into the library and left the door open as she collected a stack of books to read and went back to her office for some quality time with the books and some (carefully kept away from the books!) tea and leftover Halloween candy.

Yomiko heard noises and peered out of her office. "Hello?"

"Excuse me, are you the librarian? I was wondering if I could go through the books here and in special collections for a research project." He held up the piece of paper he'd gotten last night. "I have a teacher's note."

Yomiko looked at the note. "Hmm. Everything seemsto be in order. Be sure to wear these gloves--" she pulled a pair of dragonhide gloves out of the desk-- "and if the lights go out, run for the entrance."

Hamlet blinked a couple of times in surprise at how thick the gloves looked, but he took them anyway. Better safe than sorry.

"I'll try to keep that in mind, ma'am."

"Good. I'll be in my office; just let me know when you come out so I know we don't have to send in a rescue team." Ms. Readman sounded like she was only about half joking.
