Languages, Tuesday
In case you missed the announcement yesterday: every student in the language classes needs to do an in-class presentation. There is a sign-up sheet and further instructions at my office. The presentations should be between three and five minutes long. Visuals are encouraged. Your first presentation may be in English or your native tongue; your second one, later in the semester, must be at least half in the language you are studying. (History of English students are the exception.) The subject of your presentation may be any historical or cultural aspect of the language you're studying.
Homework for all classes is study and practice your vocabulary, and prepare for your presentations.
[ooc: I am completely out of ideas today. My apologies.]

As a Russian Blue
((Literal translation: How you walk man-thing dog in home?))
((Better translation: How's your robot-dog doing?))
(OOC: Hank is... not so good with "speaking" Cat yet.)
Re: As a Russian Blue
((Translated (somewhat loosely): All better, though he's developed a taste for peanuts for some strange reason.))
Re: As a Russian Blue
((Loose translation: That's good. I'd like to talk more later.))
*eartwitch* *sneeze* *licking fur*
((Loose translation: What kind of cat are you, anyway? I *think* that I'm a Russian Blue.)
Re: As a Russian Blue
((Loose translation: That... is a good question. Are there any mirrors around or anything))
Re: As a Russian Blue
((Loose Translation: Let's follow Professor Dream. Maybe we'll see one outside.))
Re: As a Russian Blue
((loose translation: Good plan!))
