Detention: [10/28]

As the students enter into the Dangershop, they'll see that it has been transformed into what appears to be a New York City police Station.

Lorne grinned at the students and shut the door just as a disembodied voice announced:

"In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the police, who investigate crime; and the district attorneys, who prosecute the offenders. These are their stories."

Then there is a noise that's best described as:

DOINK-DOINK

Lorne smiled a toothy grin. "Congratulations kids. You're under arrest."

He has a warrant for each student listed:
Jack Harkness
Zuko

Teddy Altman
Sam Winchester

[ooc: Wait for the OCD is up! You are now part of an "episode" of "Crime and Justice". Start off in the interview thread and I'll lead you through the "episode". ]

Simple? Nothing's simple when you're a firebending prince.

"Because you brought me here."

"No."

Yep, this was going marvelous.

Zuko had no clue what Riker's was, but he wasn't a fan of cells either. "I didn't do anything. They drew my name in a lottery, alright?"

Jack glanced at the mirror, grinned, and took a seat. "Because you wanted the pleasure of my company?" he suggested, smiling his most charming smile.

"Hey, you arrested me - what do you think I did?" Like he was going to admit to anything until he knew what they knew.

*dies* "It might. If you had something besides that," he smirked and pointed his chin at the folder, "to back your charges. Just because you write it down, doesn't mean I actually did it."

Teddy nodded and grinned because detentions here were surprisingly fun.

"I won the lottery."

Teddy mentally labeled the angry ticket throwing detective 'Detective Bad-Cop-Stereotype'. "I've never counterfeited any lottery tickets."

Teddy was actually used to working with the N.Y.P.D. back at home, well used to throwing criminals at them and running at least. And he watched Crime & Justice on a regular basis too. So he felt pretty confident about knowing all about the legal system.

"Shouldn't I have a lawyer or something?"

Ooo! Maybe he could get She-Hulk to be his attorney!

"I'm not supposed to be here," Sam replied. "I didn't do anything wrong."

"In this rare instance, I actually am," Sam said defensively. "I got chosen by the lottery to be here. I haven't actually done anything wrong."

Sam squirmed a little in his seat. "I don't know if it's a real lottery or not. I just heard my name in the announcements. It's not like I rigged something to end up here."
