Friday Assembly/Recital

The auditorium stage has been transformed into a series of moving sets and curtains. After the students and faculty take their seats Lorne steps out and waves to the crowd. "Hey all you groovy cats and kittens out there! Thanks for coming today! All my music students are very excited to perform for you today and can't wait to get things started. So without any more delay? Let's light this firecracker!"

As soon as the stage went to black, Sam flicked off her lighter. "THANK GOD!!!" The music continued, as did the fog, but all the audience could probably hear was the sound of Sam fumbling her way offstage.

"Ooof. Stupid scenery."

Jack lost it and started laughing his head off, arms wrapped around himself as he tried not to fall off his chair.

Kawalsky actually dropped his phone when he saw Sam come on stage, so he only got the last verse of the song on his phone video camera, complete with fog and lights going out.

Once she stormed off in the dark, he couldn't help but cackle. This was the best day ever.
