Peter arrived at the salle a bit later than he generally would. He hurried in to set up as others came into the salle.

"I apologise, I don't have a demonstration set up this week from anyone, so I think this shall be a rather basic week. Pair off or work on your forms alone if you like. Those of you who are starting out, if you pair off with each, we can work on some general block and attack sequences."

Willow concentrated and did her best to follow along. She got confused on some of the moves as she went, but kept going anyway.

Finishing the form, Peter turned to nod at her. "Not bad at all for a first run through."

"Can we try again please?" Willow asked, still looking frowny. "I think I can do better if we try again."

Peter grinned. "Honestly, Lady. The fact that you kept going through it when you weren't entirely sure is what made it good. But definitely, again."

"There were mistakes," Willow said. "We need to make those go away."

"Swordplay is rarely perfect," Peter replied. "And it never is on a first try."

Peter nodded. "One more time straight through, then we can break it down into pieces to work on." And he took her through it again at the same half-speed.

Willow followed along. She still missed some bits, but she at least got the timing better.

"You're definitely gettting a feel for how the sword needs to move - and how you need to move with the sword," Peter commented. "And yes, that's very good."

"Three moves at a time," Peter agreed, moving through the first three.

Willow followed along. She did much better this time around. "Can you show me your feet again there?"
