Rory smiles as she opens the library, and is actually kind of awake-ish for the first time in a long while.

She's humming a little tuneless song as she pokes around on her laptop.

And now she's working on homework.

Still doing homework. She has highlighters and she's not afraid to use them.

She's all curled up with a novel, now, and feeling quite cozy, thank you.

Rory has popcorn, jellybeans, and a big thermos of coffee.

But! The jellybeans are fruit-flavored. So they're totally healthy. And popcorn? A vegetable.

Library's closed unless you work there, though.

Now she's highlighting passages in her book, thus combining two of her greatest loves!

Woe, for she is in Ethics now. Perhaps someone else can help?

And now she's back, and carefully stacking books to be returned to the shelves.

OMG, PEOPLE. IT IS MY DAY OFF.

I have no work, no school, NOTHING. I will, thusly, sleep in late and be a little slowish when I run errands, but otherwise I'll be around, YAY.

Sam is here, ~~playing games~~ totally doing work on the computer.

Bridge bounces in to the library with a grin.

"Hi Rory!" He says, flopping down next to her.

"Hi!" Rory says brightly, blushing already. "How goes life in Bridge-land today?"

"Oh, pretty exciting," Bridge says, waving a hand. "This morning, I saw a parade of lions and tigers with monkeys riding on them in the dorms. And then on my way here there were hippos in tutus doing a ballet routine."

Rory raises a brow. "And see, here I thought I had a weird day what with the elk and the seals that came through here looking for the reference section."

"Were they navy seals?"

"No, they were more of a pinkish color."

"What about the elk, then?" Bridge asks.

"Well, they were purple, of course," Rory says as though this is the most obvious thing ever.

"As they should be," Bridge nods.

"Elk in any other color would be so weird," she says, shyly scooting her chair a little closer.

"Yeah," Bridge agrees, grinning slightly as he notices her moving closer. "So... what were they trying to look up?"

"American senators from 1917 through 1999," she says, shrugging. "Go figure."

"Research for a paper? Or of a more practical nature?" Bridge ponders.

"Curiosity, I think," she says.

After carefully checking the library to make sure that Certain Other People weren't there, Luke approached the desk.

"Hey," he said quietly.
