Balancing his coffee and a blueberry muffin precariously on one arm, Bridge opens up the library and settles in behind the desk with his mp3 player.

No, he is not dancing in his chair. Really.

Nor is he humming while he checks the system to see if there's anyone he can send "OMG YOUR BOOKS ARE RIDICULOUSLY OVERDUE" notices to.

Bored with doing library-ish things that involve sitting at the desk for long periods of time, Bridge is reshelving books. And totally dancing, just a little.

And now he's found a bunch of scrap paper and is designing several different types of paper airplanes so that he can test and see which one flies the furthest.

It's lunch, and Bridge has... trail mix. With candy in it. A strange mix of healthy and unhealthy, which he chose for... no reason at all. Really.

After lunch, Bridge is feeling... oddly disappointed, for some strange reason that he can't quite place. So he's spinning in the spinny chair behind the desk in an effort to distract himself.

Since Hunting class is next period, Bridge is reviewing his notes in preparation for class.

Bridge is off at Hunting, perhaps someone else can help you?

Because it's supposed to be here!

Rory meanders in, looking...possibly a little more put-together than usual.

"Hey, you," she says, tossing herself into a chair beside Bridge.

"Rory!" Bridge says, not quite startled but definitely pleasantly surprised. "Hi!" He grins.

"I didn't startle you, right?" Rory asks. "I would've been here for lunch, but I caught up on sleep instead."

"Not quite," Bridge says. "And um- Ididkindawonderwhereyouwere," he admits, all in a rush.

Rory bites her lip, still smiling. "I didn't mean to worry you or anything."

"You're here now, though. And that's good." Bridge says, blushing slightly. "And you look nice. Not that you don't *always* look nice but today you look... nice."

Wow, lame.

Rory blushes dark. "Thanks," she says shyly. "So...have you had to shush anyone today?"

Nice segue.

"Nope," Bridge says, pouting slightly. "Nobody seems to need shushing around here, except Peter, but he wasn't in today."

"I could be loud," Rory suggests. "Then you could shush me if you wanted."

"That's very nice of you to offer," Bridge says with a grin. "Thanks."

"You're welcome!" Rory says in an outdoor voice.

"Shh!" Bridge tries very, very hard to look all stern and librarian-like.

Rory dutifully quiets down. "Nice shushing," she says. "Very authoritative."

"Thanks!" Bridge chirps, grinning at Rory, all traces of seriousness gone.

"I'm still not good at it, but I've also never had to be. People are good about being quiet here," she says, and wonders why she's still talking.

"Well, I think it helps that there's a semi-sentient section of the library," Bridge muses. "Scares people into behaving."
