When it was time to open the library, Yomiko came out of her office, yawning, and turned on the main lights and opened the door. No, she totally hadn't been holed up in the library reading the books all weekend. Just most of the weekend.

Now Ms. Readman was behind the collections desk, patiently combing her hair out.

Ms. Readman was trying to catch up on library paperwork.

Yomiko hoped no one had any overdue books. She would hate to have to tell their parents they didn't respect library rules.

Lunch

The library was closed to the librarian and library aides. Today, Yomiko had cold pizza.

Ms. Readman stared at the computer and an open e-mail window, trying to figure out what to put in her report to Mr. Joker.

Sixth Period

She was pretty sure he'd be interested in the fact that one of her aides was psychic, but she wasn't sure Special Operations was the right atmosphere for Bridge.

Seventh Period

Yomiko gave up on the e-mail and started folding origami flowers instead. She was bored, so it was a good thing the day was almost over.
