Gun Club, 12-3 pm, the Gym

The gym had been set up with a number of barriers, panels, obstacles, and mats, including two areas marked "Gold" and "Blue". Lazer tag equipment - padding, chestplates with lights, and laser guns - was laid out at a table by the door. A sign outside the Gym said Gun Club Meeting - Lazer Tag - Non-members welcome!

Parker had put on equipment already, and grinned when people came in. "Hey, guys. Grab some equipment and pick a team. Dodge-ball rules: three hits, and you're 'out', and have to wait until someone drags you to your team-designated area so you can be 'in' again. Winning team has the most people still standing at 3pm. Have fun!"

Jack raised one eyebrow and grinned. "Just amusing? Not sexy, or handsome, or intriguing, or adorable?"

"You don't have to be smug to be most of those things. It just helps," Parker informed him. "And the rest of the time, the smug makes you so amusing that any intrigue is decreased to a point of diminishing returns."

Jack, in a startling burst of maturity, poked his tongue out at her.
