Detention [Saturday, October 14, all day]

The Danger Room Shop had been configured into a series of stark detention cells.

Vader checked off the names of the students as they entered detention and wordlessly pointed them to their own room.

"You will sit in there for a period of time and think about what you did to get in here," he growled as the interrogation droid that his Ethics students would recognize hovered behind him. "And if you are not feeling as...repentant...as you should be, you will continue to stay in that cell all. day. long."

The doors slammed shut behind each student, leaving them in darkness.

OOC: ETA: I have plans for tonight, woe, so I will pick up all hanging pings in the morning. Your characters got out of detention around 5 o'clock Fandom time and Vader was pissy all. day. long. Thanks for playing!!

Bel bowed his head. "It will be done," he swore.

The program ended. "You survived an encounter with the Emperor," Vader noted, sounding almost impressed.

"He's not that different from the Source," Bel said. "I know what to do in that kind of situation."

"The Source of All Evil," Bel said. "I serve -- I mean I used to serve -- him. He rules the Underworld where I come from."

Vader noted the slip but chose not to press it. "My Master would approve of his choice in titles," he said instead. "And then would attempt to kill him."

"Now that might be an interesting fight," Bel said. "I've never met anyone as powerful as the Source. But that lightning was pretty harsh."

Vader's cape rippled. "That was a toned-down version of what it actually feels like," he said, and if that sounded like the voice of experience, it was. "The actual fallout from that particular incident wasn't nearly so pleasant."

"I'll take your word for it," Bel said, having no masochistic wish to experience the real thing. The "toned-down version" was bad enough; his jacket was still smoking.
