Detention [Saturday, October 14, all day]

The Danger Room Shop had been configured into a series of stark detention cells.

Vader checked off the names of the students as they entered detention and wordlessly pointed them to their own room.

"You will sit in there for a period of time and think about what you did to get in here," he growled as the interrogation droid that his Ethics students would recognize hovered behind him. "And if you are not feeling as...repentant...as you should be, you will continue to stay in that cell all. day. long."

The doors slammed shut behind each student, leaving them in darkness.

OOC: ETA: I have plans for tonight, woe, so I will pick up all hanging pings in the morning. Your characters got out of detention around 5 o'clock Fandom time and Vader was pissy all. day. long. Thanks for playing!!

"Sure," the trooper said, picking rock again.

Jaye chooses rock on purpose. "Oh no, a tie!" She's mean like that.

"One more go?" the trooper asked just before two Stormtroopers and a very familiar alien came through the door.

"What are you doing with that...thing?" the trooper asked.

"Prisoner transfer," the shorter trooper piped.

The short one waved back a little spastically before the alien began roaring.

"He's escaped!" the tall one cried, shooting at everything but the alien.

Huh.

Jaye turns to the stormtrooper next to her and asks, "Think there'll be a guy along selling popcorn anytime soon?"

"No!" the Stormtrooper said before standing up and totally getting shot.

"Which cell's the princess in?" the taller trooper asked Jaye, pointing his blaster at her.

Jaye shrugs. "I don't know, the one with the expensive linens? Do I look like I'm paying attention to stuff?"

The tall one tilted his head. "Good point," he said, looking over the consoles. "Cell block AA23," he told the shorter trooper, who went racing down the hall. The tall one then reached for the microphone as an annoyed officer's piped through asking what was wrong. "Slight...weapons malfunction," he bluffed. "But we're all fine here now...how are you?"

He wasn't very good at this.

Jaye snickers and says, "Tell them I said hi."

The stormtrooper snorted. "And one of your troopers here says hi."

There was outraged squawking from the microphone before the trooper shot it. "Luke!" he called. "We've got company!"

"Aw, going now?" Jaye asks.

Seriously. Don't think she won't be bringing popcorn next time.

"We're breaking a prisoner slated for execution out of her cell, sweetheart," the trooper replied. "Sticking around tends to be bad for living through it."

He tilted his helmet at her. "Don't suppose you know another way out of here?"

"I'm just in a simulation," Jaye says. "But you could try that way." And she points.

"Thanks!" he said and raced off.

The program shut down.

"That was not how it was supposed to go, either," Vader snarled.

"Again with that whole people person thing," Jaye says. And then she holds her hand out in a fist. "Rock, paper, scissors?"

Jaye frowns and drops her hand. "You're no fun," she says, shaking her head sadly.

And then flees like a smart girl.
