Detention [Saturday, October 14, all day]

The Danger ~~Room~~ Shop had been configured into a series of stark detention cells.

Vader checked off the names of the students as they entered detention and wordlessly pointed them to their own room.

"You will sit in there for a period of time and think about what you did to get in here," he growled as the interrogation droid that his Ethics students would recognize hovered behind him. "And if you are not feeling as...repentant...as you should be, you will continue to stay in that cell all. day. long."

The doors slammed shut behind each student, leaving them in darkness.

OOC: ETA: I have plans for tonight, woe, so I will pick up all hanging pings in the morning. Your characters got out of detention around 5 o'clock Fandom time and Vader was pissy all. day. long. Thanks for playing!!

Leaving his cell, Zuko faced the table. He studied the three objects on the table. The first two seemed fairly simple. More out of curiosity than anything else, he picked up the lightsaber, wondering what it did.

The blade glowed red as the room swirled around him. The programming gave him a black cloak and placed him in a huge, white, cavernous hallway. "Lord Vader," a uniformed man next to him said breathlessly. "We have the Rebel vessel in range. Our sources tell us that the Death Star plans are still on board. What are your orders?"

Zuko looked surprised at the sudden change of scenery and at the glowing thingie. While he had no clue what a Death Star was, he did know war situations.

"Board them," he replied to the officer.

"Very good, my lord," the officer replied, bowing and scuttling off.

Ten minutes later, he came racing back. "The ship has been pacified, my lord. We have the captain ready to answer your questions, if you would follow me?"

"Lead the way," Zuko said, still clutching the lightsaber. "Do we have any soldiers on this vessel?"

"Most of a battalion of stormtroopers, my lord," the officer told him. "The rebel scum weren't very good shots."

He gestured to a hole that had been blown in the side of the captured diplomatic vessel. "The Captain's name is Antilles. We've learned nothing else from him, but our sources are certain that the Death Star plans are on the ship somewhere."

Zuko nodded, he was still assuming he was on a normal ship like the Fire Nation had.

"Very well. I want you to use most of the troops to search the vessel for the plans. Interrogate all personnel, they might have seen something or know what the captain has done to the plans," he odered the officer before heading into the room to go talk to the captain.

The captain was being held up by two white masked stormtroopers. "I won't tell you anything!" he said, sweating visibly.

"We'll see about that," Zuko said, stepping towards Antilles. He studied the man, noting that at least he was nervous. "Where are the plans to the Death Star?" he asked firmly, having no clue what kind of star needed a plan.

"We don't have any plans!" the captain stammered. "We're on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan!"

Zuko narrowed his eyes and leaned forward. He conjured up a flame in the palm of his hand and brought it close to the captain's face. "Don't make me repeat the question," he warned.

"Diplomatic mission!" the captain repeated.

Zuko pulled back. "You're rebels," he pointed out. "Unless you give me the plans, I don't see why I should release you and your crew."

The captain laughed a little hysterically. "You're Lord Vader," he said. "I don't think I'll be leaving alive."

"Give me the plans and you have my word that you will," Zuko said, leaning forward again to put power behind the words.

The captain glared back. "No."

"So you do admit that you have the plans," Zuko said, feeling slightly triumphant that he got out that much.

"I don't," the captain said, biting his lower lip.

"Who does then?" he pressed.

"I'm not telling you that!" the captain said suicidally.

Zuko growled and pushed away, pacing for a moment as he tried to come up with a way to get Antilles to talk. He stopped when he got an idea.

"You're a Captain," he reminded him. "Your first responsibility is your crew who at this time are in my hands. Now which is more important to you? The lives of your crew or those plans?"

"Those plans."

Zuko who had led the avatar escape in order to save his crew, stared at the man. He flexed his fingers by his side, getting more than a little annoyed at this entire situation. What was up with those plans anyway.

"How many people are part of your crew?" he demanded to know.

"Forty-six," the captain replied. "Before your stormtroopers killed most of them."

Zuko hesitated for a moment. He hadn't ordered his soldiers to kill anyone yet so he was going to assume that they had fought back.

"You can watch as we question them all," Zuko told the captain, hoping that Vader's reputation would make it very clear what he implied with that. He also hoped that the captai wouldn't call his bluff.
