Shawn blinked. "You're often stuck behind a mirror?" he queried.

"No." Pippi said chewing. "Just the once so far."

"Oh," Shawn said fiddling with the ice cream in his bowl. "Well that's positive, at least." Curiosity got the better of him and he had to ask, "What is there behind a mirror?"

~~The wall?~~

"On the other side of the one I fell through had a fancy sitting room and beyond that a very pretty countryside full of villages, and forests, monsters, and more then a few excitingly pushy people."

"I think I'll stick to being not inside mirrors," Shawn decided. "Still, sounds different at least, even if you did miss some class because of it."

"That is my current policy as well." Pippi nodded. "It was. I had fun for the most part but... I spent a lot of time just wanting to get out."

"I've managed to avoid any of that kind of weirdness so far," Shawn said ."Fingers crossed my luck lasts out," he added, and put another spooful of ice cream into his mouth.

Pippi knocked on the (mostly) wood table.

"Good luck with that."

Shawn grinned, and nodded. "I appreciate that," he said scraping up the last of the melted ice cream from the bottom of the bowl.

"I should probably be off back to the dorms," he added standing up. "Been nice talking to you again, Pippi."

Pippi nodded.

"You too. I'll be sure to remember your name now, Shawn."

"That's a good start," Shawn replied chuckling. "Later."
