Library - (10/3)

Mocha in hand, Isabel opened the library right on time. She settled in behind the counter, booted up the computer and started running through the political news so she'd be ready for tomorrow's Campaigning class.

He held his hands up. "I already promised Cedric: one piece, and not bruised or in pain. And I won't be late. Especially not if you're going to dance with me."

"Good. I'm holding you to it." Isabel walked out from behind the counter and opened her arms. "Do I get a hug before you leave?"

"Just try and stop me." Jack wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly. "I'm going to miss you," he said into her hair.

"Back at you," she said, squeezing him before pulling back to kiss his cheek. "Stay out of trouble and hurry back!"

"Of course you will," he laughed. "And I promise." He stepped closer and kissed her forehead then straightened. "Now I have to go and see the Doctor, and try and explain why I'm going to be missing his class on Friday."

"Given some of what he's said, I'm sure he'll understand your quest for adventure." Reaching out she gave him one last squeeze and whispered a quick "love you" into his ear before letting go and heading back around the counter.

Jack's smile was blinding. "I'll never get tired of hearing that," he told her and then headed out the door with a distinct bounce in his step.
