Ethics (Thursday, September 28, 6th period)

Vader swept into the room precisely on time, slamming the door hard enough to reverberate down the hallway. He dropped a box of cookies onto his desk.

"Today we talk about how a strict sense of right and wrong interferes in efficiency," he said, pacing the room and clearly intending to intimidate as many students as possible. "Employees who do not believe that there will be consequences for their incompetence become lazy, stupid, and easily replaceable."

Vader took the box of cookies from his desk and passed it around the room. "Each of you has a cookie," he said. "You will spend the rest of the class period using the tactics of fear, shame and guilt to get the other people in this classroom to give you their cookies." And yes, that word sounded incredibly strange coming from him. "Whoever has the most cookies at the end of the class will get to keep them."

He crossed his arms over his chest. "Are these tactics unethical? Does it matter if you get what you want?"

"YOU DARE TO MOCK ME!"

Jamie pulls out a tupperware container of swedish meatballs and throws them off the wall where it bounces and lands on the floor.

"YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN TO TEASE DARTH MADROX!"

*breathes in*

*breathes out*

Bel blinked.

"Well. Yes. So what are you gonna do about it?"

Jamie stood up and tried to make his cape billow dramatically.

"Give me your cookies."

"Or you'll breath heavily on me?" Bel asked mildly. "It's like getting an obscene phone call, only you're not asking what I'm wearing."

"WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?" Jamie asked. "I CAN'T SEE A THING IN THIS HELMET"

"Nothing," Bel said. "Didn't you get the memo? It's Naked Thursday."

There's a long pause.

"Is everyone naked?."

"Oh yeah," Bel said. "Even the girls. It's pretty cool."

"EVEN AERYN?" Jamie asked trying to whisper.

Bel leaned in close as he could to the helmet and whispered back, "Oh, yeah, man, she's hot."

Jamie spends the next two minutes frantically trying to get his helmet off unsuccessfully.

"Crap."

"Dude, you're missing it," Bel said. "Vader's raining on the parade and making everyone get dressed again."

"LIAR! I CAN'T SEE! I'M NOT DEAF!"

Jamie grips his hands tightly. Unfortunately he's not wearing leather gloves but mittens so they don't make any creaky-squishy noises.

Bel snickered. "Okay, I'm lying. Everyone's still naked."

Jamie pulled off his mitten and poked at Belthazor.

Bel quickly rolled up his sleeve so that Jaime found a bare arm.

Not quite trusting Bel with just one poke, Jamie continued to try an poke him in other places.

Bel scooted his chair away. "Dude, watch the hands!" he said. "You almost grabbed me in a place my girlfriend might get pissed about."

"Bah. Prove you're naked."

"Take your helmet off," Bel said mildly.

"I can't. It's stuck."

Bel looked throughfully at Jaime. "If you duplicated, would you all be wearing the outfit?"

"Don't do it."

Bel grinned, not that Jamie could see it. "Give me your cookie or I'll punch you."

"Do you really want two of me annoying you?"
