Science Club: In the Science Wing

Welcome to Science Club! I thought we could continue having meetings on Mondays. If anyone wants to change the date or sponsor an event, drop me a note.

If you missed the sign-ups for Science Club, we're still taking new members. We'll be having a weekly meeting with an activity until after Homecoming, and then we will also start planning for the Science Fair.

Please make sure you are on the list so you can get credit. Thanks!

Today, we are going to do another experiment... Lab Glassblowing. I've lined up all the materials you need, follow the tutotials and ask if you have any questions.

Oh, and per the new rules, this week you can't make any rayguns or other weapons. And per our [livejournal.com profile] equalsmcsquared's rules, NO BONGS. Don't tell me it is a vase. I'm not stupid.

Please post your completed project here. We'll take photos and make a bulletin board for the class! Thanks everyone. Torches are over there.

[OOC: Slow-play to your heart's content. Post a photo of your glass piece here. Don't hotlink directly, but a regular link works. Use Google Image Search if you're stuck for ideas.]

"Is everything okay now?"

"And I really couldn't come up with anything that wasn't medical related. I was thinking either a pharmaceutical company or a clinic or something."

"Marketing for a new drug would be interesting. I wonder if Ms. Gilmore-Danes would let that count since its not technically starting a new business?"

[ooc: it would totally count... ]

Let's go with the first. I think it'll benefit us both more for the future anyway.

[ooc: you on AIM? want to check something with you]
