Good work with the societies. This class we will discuss family. First, I have an article that I would like to pass out that describes two different types of families, then we will talk about what it means to be a family.

Homework: Describe your familial structure. Is it patrilineal or matrilineal? How would your family be different if it was switched from the norm?

Today's lesson we will be studying the similarities between Greek and Latin's grammar structure. As you can see, both languages are similar except that Greek has a different alphabet, and there is no aorist tense. Obviously, there is a reason for this, and we will see that once comparing the two. Open up your books, please.

Yes, sir. Thank you. I just was wondering if I'd have to retake the quiz. Also, I'm afraid no one informed me about the assignment so I didn't get to finish it.

Only if you want to, I'm not going to make you retake the quiz because of medical-related reasons. I won't penalize you for missing the assignment either, and you luckily didn't have any homework. But if you feel like you're falling behind the others, come see me during office hours.

*nods relieved* Thank you, sir. I er... don't mind missing a quiz for once, but I'll make sure to catch up for the assignment if that's alright.

Lisa passes in her assignment and sits in the back of the class. After last week, she's okay with a quiet day getting through class. She looks over at Faith's notebook and smiles.

Faith notices the eyes on her, and looks up. She sees Lisa looking at her notebook and looks down, realizing what she had been doodling.
"Oh, yeah. I'm a little bored?"

"Yeah, the endless slides start to get to me too. I took an Intro to Gross Anatomy class at my old school, if I never see another slide again...

Anyway, the zombies made me laugh. They're almost... cute. For zombies, I guess."

"Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking, taking this class when I clearly don't have the attention span for it.
These zombies are really cute, compared to the real ones. Real zombies suck- they eat people, and they look wicked gross. At least, I think they eat people- I never really paid attention when stuff like this was explained to me. Probably should have."
Faith looks at the girl, and realizes she's never met her before.
"My name's Faith, what's yours?"

"Lisa. I've never run into a real zombie, and I hope to keep it that way. Hey, I'm going to get out of here, apparently a pirate is buying rounds in town. Maybe I'll see you there?"

"If there's free drinks, you can pretty much guarantee my attendance. See you later."

Da...Doctor Jackson, what homework did I miss? I coulda sworn I did it all. There was the slide thing, which I handed in, and then the reading. Right?

I might have missed it, my office is quite messy. It is cumulative, so it might have been a homework that you missed before and never made up?

Oh yeah...I was on the list last week because I was behind on all my work, but I caught up and handed it in.
