Anders had about six hot dogs buried under a pile of french fries, his usual three glasses of milk, and apple juice to boot.

If that was a challenge, Anders wasn't turning it down. He got up and came back with a small bowl of salad, similarly topped with ice cream and hot sauce. (Small bowl? Well, yes. Had to leave room for that half-dozen hot dogs, after all.)

"What's next?" he asked, by way of stalling as he tried to toss the dubious salad. "The marshmallow, chocolate, and pepper empanadas?"
