When Phale got pulled together to go teach his first class ever, Wilson also got up and went in to the school with him. Leaving Phale with a kiss and an assurance that he was going to be brilliant, Wilson headed on down the hallway to his own office.

Wilson also had a couch and a couple of comfortable armchairs set up in his office, along with a nice rug, leather desk chair and of course, a desk! Most importantly, he had the beloved coffee machine which in short order was pumping out the delicious scent of Jamaican Blue Mountain freshly ground and now perking.

Settling down behind his desk, he still had work to do on his lesson plans for the week and so set to it, he grinned as he took note of a familiar looking thermos sitting there as if it had always been there. Picking it up, he gave it a loving kiss, then set it down to enjoy in a bit. For now the door stood open for anyone who might need or want to wander by; one warning, the coffee mugs were not unlimited.

"Hey Dr. Wilson." Blair bounced in and held out a couple of tupperware containers. "I brought you back your containers, man. Thanks for the food!"

Reaching out to take them, Wilson set them aside on the desk with a chuckle.

"I hope you enjoyed. Thought maybe something cooked from home might make a good balance to cafeteria food. Not that I would ever disparage Fandom High's cafeteria...well... save for that small ABBA incident but anyway. How are you doing this first day of classes?"

"It was great, man, seriously." Blair grinned. "Though the cafeteria food isn't all that bad. Especially bagel bites. Best. Thing. Ever."

"Pretty awesome, man. I had Az..Mr. Aziraphale's class already and then I have history next."

"I fear I have a healthy distrust for cafeteria food, it's why I'm a vegetarian in the first place." Wilson admitted, sitting back.

"Would you like some tea or coffee before you head on? And I saw that you're in both Aziraphale's prophecy class and my Thursday class. I was pleased about that and look forward to seeing you in class!"

"Cafeteria food made you a vegetarian?" Blair asked. "I'd love some tea, thank you."

"Yeah, I'm happy I got into your class too!"

Wilson chuckles and reached for the thermos of tea and a couple of mugs. Pouring out something that had a definite scent of fresh mint, he set one of the mugs on the desk for Blair and took the other for himself.

"I did my residency at John's Hopkins and while they are renowned as a medical college, they are also infamous for having some of the most horrific 'mystery meat' in the whole medical community. It became easier just to stop eating it period and then as I got further into oncology and learned more and more about the importance of a healthy diet, it was just easier to keep going vegetarian. Though, I do eat some fish and other seafood, just no red meat, pork or chicken."

Perhaps more than Blair needed to know but at the same time, this was Blair and he might at least get a laugh at the idea of a medical college having inedible food!

Blair grinned and bounced. "It's good to know there's some truth to the rumors of cafeteria style food being bad. They say that it in books and movies all the time but after eating here, I figured it wasn't all that bad in real life."

"Naomi, my mom, is all about being a vegetarian but I think that has more to do with not eating another soul that could possibly be a reincarnated friend of hers. I've never had that problem." Blair grinned. "I figured any friend of mine would be happy to show up as pepperoni on my pizza."

Remembering some of the jokes they had at medical school about the 'mystery meats' Wilson quickly decided that a tender young mind like Blair did not need to be exposed to morbid medical humor at this point in the semester.

Instead he laughed and nodded thoughtfully.

"So the next time I can actually make it the way it's supposed to be made, with fresh tuna steak?" Wilson asked with a twinkle in his dark eyes. "It's good that you're friends would be so understanding about being a pepperoni, I think I might like to come back as a portabello mushroom myself."

Sipping at his tea, he asked curiously. "Will Naomi will come for Parents' Weekend? Assuming the school holds it again this year?"

"Yum." Blair said in response to the tuna question. "Portobello mushroom, huh? That's not a bad thing to come back as, I'm hoping that I can come back as a packet of hot chocolate. If I build up enough good karma maybe I'll even have those little marshmallows."

"I don't know." Blair shrugged. "It depends on where she's staying at the time and who she's staying with. I'm not so sure it would be a good idea though."

Making a mental note about the tuna steak, Wilson had to laugh cheerfully at the idea of Blair as a packet of hot chocolate with little marshmellows.

"Blair, I think you'd also bring back the whip cream on top and little chocolate sprinkles, I honestly do. The way you bring a smile to the day, karma better be paying attention." He said with a twinkle in his eyes.

Noting the slight...just...very slight but slight shift in Blair's tempo at the mention of his mother, Wilson felt his curiosity come up but figured now might not be the time to push on it.

"Well, we've got some time before it even becomes a factor, don't we? And a whole new school year to get started. I'll tell you a secret... I'm nervous as heck about my class tomorrow."

Blair blushed at the compliment and shrugged. "I try, man."

"Really? Why?" Blair leaned forward, finishing off his tea. "That's the one I'm not taking. The humor one?"

"Well, I'm used to teaching in a very different style, Blair and actually for that matter I'm used to being a doctor first and foremost." He said with a wry smile.

"And I'm nervous about them both, though I hope that a lot of that will wear off by the time I teach the class you're in, as I'll have the first one done and under my belt."

"The best teachers I've had are ones that like the material and like the students." Blair nodded. "As long as you have that going for you, you'll do fine."

"That's why I took the second class." Blair teased. "Wanted to get you at your best."

"Well... I'm pretty sure I like you guys." Wilson said in a teasing tone of his own, then winked at Blair.

"You're right and we shall see how it goes when it goes after all."

"Just pretty sure, huh?" Blair grinned. "I'm hurt."

Blair checked his watch and bounced. "Almost time for my next class, man. Is the invitation still on for me to come over and vist you and Aziraphale?"

Sitting up with a chuckle, Wilson didn't hesitate as he nodded.

"Always, Blair anytime you want to come by, give us a call and the door will be open, just come on in."

"Cool, I'll do that man." Blair bounced eagerly. "I'll see you later!"
