(Last) Basketball Practice Gym, Sunday Morning

Peter got to the gym early after running down to J, GoB to pick up some after-practice food for the players who'd been showing up every Sunday morning for the past few months.

He set up the gym for practice, hardly able to believe their last game was going to be on Friday and that this was the last practice of the season.  Maybe their next organised sport would be football.  Peter grinned at the thought and wondered if the cheerleaders would consent to cheering goals and corner kicks instead of baskets.

Starting to dribble a ball in fairly complicated patterns, Peter warmed up.

That did ease his mind and Cameron chuckled. "Yep, you're good to go as long as you don't blow yourself up."

"I already spent a week in the clinic," Tyler said. "hospital food sucks, don't want to do it again."

Tyler nodded as if it was obvious. "And if you want, you can watch Sam and I mix things we probably shouldn't mix."

"I think I'll probably enjoy watching the actual blowing things up part better," Cameron replied and it wasn't jsut saying that to check up on Tyler.

"I'll call you for that part," Tyler promised. "Was thinking about inviting my little brother, too. I need to fiind him later today."

Cameron grinned. "If he's into explosives, that might make him really happy. I'm still deciding if I'm going to go meet the fresh meat or not."

"I figure it can't hurt to go out there at least for a little while," Tyler shrugged. "And if he's not into them, I'll find something else to do with him."

"True," Cameron nodded and grinned. "You'll make a great big sib," he said with a laugh.

"I'm going to assume you're being sincere and say thanks and I'll try," Tyler promised. "Are you getting a little sib?"

"I am, it's just weird thinking that at Fandom you're awesome to invite people to watch things getting blown up," he shook his head. "No, I didn't sign up this time around. I think I neglected my sib the last time so I decided to pass."

"They did this before?," Tyler asked. "Guess they skipped it this summer." He looked worried. "I guess the new kid and me will figure stuff out together."

Cameron nodded. "Back in january. I guess they figured it wouldn't be necessary as it wasn't actually for grades or something. You'll do fine."
