Agatha lifted her head from the table as people walked in. “Hi. I am tired. Work on your projects from last week please. Quetly.”

JOhn walks past a large pile of copper tubing, metal ductwork, and what appears to be cymbals. The corner of his shirt snags a tiny piece of tubing...and it unravels, causes a cacophony that had all hungover people on the island wincing.

Agatha lifted her head slightly, noticed that there was nothing she could do about this, waved her hand ineffectually and slammed her head back down on teh table. With a thud. "OW!"

"Um, boss slash prof, you okay?"

"Ow." Agatha spoke without lookign up, sothe words were a bit muffled. "head ow. you loud. ow."

"See, this is why I save my drinking for times where I don't have to be headthinky the next morning." He rummages through his pockets for something.

"No drinking, working. hit head on something. maybe."

"See, this is why I save my bashing through rocks with my cranium for days where I don't have to be headthinky the next morning. Gotcha!" He pulls a small packet out of his cargo pants and opens it. "Ah, crap. Gotta do some shopping."

He puts two pills on the table. "Here. Take two of these and call the doc in the morning if it doesn't work. Headache stuff. ~~oh, look, I found a link to a hangover cure, if you've gaslamp'd a blender: http://www.soyouwanna.com/site/syws/hangover/hangover5.html~~

Agatha jsut waved her hand inefectually, not even botheringto raise her head. "Ow. spinny. nauseous. no taking anything."

"So you woke up like this? DId you hit your head? Eat anything unusual?"

"hit head. workign all night. no sleep."

"Okay, that sounds like fun. We need to discuss you possibly wearing a helmet and possibly body armor." John searched his pockets, and came out with an LED tape measure (http://www.webbcompany.com/details.php?prodID=1678&catID=12). "Wanna do the concussion check? It's fu~uun," he sing-songed.

"Huh? what?"

"This," he said, waving the LED flashlight, "is a nifty tool that all head-damage-y geniuses need. It's a tapemeasure," he pulls out the double 3 feet/1 meter Standard/Metric tape measure, "that measures things up to 3 feet, and," he said, pressing the button that activated the LED, "it lights up. Seeeee? Shiiiiiiiny."

John should really not torment the person who determines his grades AND signs his paychecks, but... it's JOhn.

AGatha lifted her head enough to look at hte hsiny shiny light. It hurt.

"Hrm... are you aware that your head is full of gears?"

OOC: Agatha = Concussion?

"what?"

"No, really, its all fulla gears. THat's probably the ticking sound you've been hearing."

JOhn reeeeeally shouldn't be doing this to his boss/prof.

"what?" agatha looked athim blankly. her pupils were totally not contracting but rahter stayign dialated.

"hrm. I think that you've got a problem with your mainspring, and it looks like your Knuten gears aren't quite connecting. There's some obvious signs of slippage there." He waved the light in one eye and the other as he spoke. "I think you may be past your maintenance, but should be routine."

He glanced at the other students in the workshop and did the "guy head nod" that translated to "Help my ~~drunk~~ friend to the door".

"C'mon, Miz Clay," he said, trying to get her to stand, "just a lil overhaul, nothing too bad."

Agatha is only mildly puppet-like. "what? where?"

Mac sets to work on making metal rings to finish her necklace. Obviously she makes a mistake, and starts tapping away with a hammer to straighten out the metal wire again.

"Owww..." Agatha emits a pitiful moan.

Mac pauses, her hammer in the air and gives Agatha a sideways look. "Are you okay?"

"Ow. Maybe. Ow."

"Okay, that doesn't sound okay." Mac puts her hammer down with another clunk. "Is something up with your head?"

"Hit it. Noise hurts. Light hurts. Ow." Agatha sounded only slightly pitiful. REally she should have gone to the clinic, but she didn't liek doctors.

Mac pulled a face, "Yeah, not okay."

"What did you hit it on?"

"Dunno"

Mac nodded. Forgetting things, check. Light hating, check. Owch, check.

"You sure you don't have a concussion or something. You should go get yourself checked out, really."

"'ll be fine." There was apause "ow"

there is half a new toy somewhere around. looks like a bronze butterfly. with a 3 foot wingspan. unfinished

....is Agatha clothed or doing the Genius in a Nightdress thing? :D

agatha is dressed. it has no name yet. it loosk like it shoudlbe articulated and flappy but is for now limp
