Photography Workshop [8/23]

There was a spread of pastries from J,GOB along with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the front of the classroom.

"Well, gang, this is our last workshop," Veronica said. "You've all done a great job with your pictures. Today, you can spend some time in the darkroom developing your last batch of photos. Then I want you to go through all the pictures you've taken over the last seven weeks and choose your favorite three to five to display for your classmates."

"If that actually becomes a concern, come find me. Seriously." She shook her head. "So you only have friendly feelings for this guy, nothing else? Always awkward. I hope you can stay friends, though." Parker grinned. "I'm friends with *most* of my ex-boyfriends, so..."

Blair thought about Parker's chances against Bel and grinned. "If I get worried, I'll come get you."

"Honestly, I have friendly feelings only for guys in general. I think I'm just interested in girls."

"Cool. And that is, the standard, so no big surprise." Parker dryly added, "Even if sometimes you can't tell around here. This would be even easier if you already had a girlfriend, of course. But since you don't, Speech of Friendship and Amazingly Gentle Rejection."

"Fandom seems to have more than it's fair share." Blair shrugged. "And it's not like I wasn't trying on the girlfriend front. Maybe I'll have more luck when the new fall students come. Do you know if we're getting any girls?"

Parker cocked her head and grinned. "I would assume so? I heard we're getting at least twenty new students. If they're all guys, that'll definitely be a fun gender imbalance."

"Twenty? Awesome." Blair bounced. "I'm sure there'd be girls in a group that large."

"Definitely. So your research dating might not have yielded results so far, but at least you're prepared with a whole new crew." She grinned at the bouncing. "You can just meet them at the door, show them around. Make sure they don't get bitten. All that stuff."

"The new girls bite?" Blair's jaw dropped. "Like vampire-bite or Lily Kane-bite?"

Parker facepalmed. "I was thinking of the gremlins." Then she grinned mischeviously. "But maybe they'll bite if you ask nicely."

"Parker." Blair blushed and shook his head, smiling a little. "We can't just have a normal conversation where you don't tease me, can we?"

"Nope," Parker said, unrepentant. "You're pretty when you blush. How can I resist?"

Blair facepalmed and groaned. "Parker. I'm a guy. I'm not pretty, I'm ruggedly handsome."

"Prettier?" Parker tried, smile widening. "Okay, appealing. That works. Remember to blush around the new girls. They'll think it's charming."

"You are a pain." Blair teased. "But thanks for the help."

"Any time. Except when I'm not caffienated."

"Got it." Blair grinned. "I'll let you know how it goes, okay?"

"Yes, do that. And remember, the offer to hit is still open. Even if it does go against your principles or anything."

Blair grinned and bounced. "I think my principles could live with it if you did the hitting."
