The dangershop was set up as a classy, futuristic function room, with holographic waiters carrying trays of food and drink, and Harper was wearing a suit instead of his usual clothes. "This is our last class," Harper said, fidding with his tie. "Congratulations on surviving so far. Since, as I just said, we're going to be doing something a little different today."

"We're going to be having a party. However, you are not going to be the only guests. This is an important conference, with many important dignitaries and assorted others attending. Your job is not just to have a good time, you also have to ensure they do too. Schmooze, mingle, butter them up, try to not to start an interstellar war. The usual kind of thing."

"One more thing. Not everyone at this conference is here for the conference, amongst the guests, there are people with other agendas. Some worse than others. Try and figure out who these people are and what they want."

He tapped a control and the room filled with guests.

"Go on, get out there and mingle."

"I don't touch canapes," Gerentex sniffed. "They're bad for my digestion."

"Then why were you trying to push them on me?" Jamie asked looking at Gerentex suspiciously. "Did you tamper with the canapes?"

"Of course not!"

"Then you won't mind showing me your invitation while you eat a canape," Jamie said crossing his arms.

"Yes, I would mind," Gerentex replied. "I don't need to answer to a glorified busboy."

"I'm a legitimate guest here," Jamie asserted. "You however have yet to identify yourself and explain why you've poisoned the canapes."

"Why would I posion the canapes?"

"So you could have the dip all to yourself."

"But if the canapes are posioned people will have no choice but to eat the dip!"

"And yet here you are steering people towards the canapes," Jamie said wagging a finger at the alien. "So people will die and you'd have the dip to yourself! Well not on my watch buster!"

"I'm steering people towards teh canapes because they give me heartburn!"

"A likely story," Jamie scoffed. "You expect me to believe that?"

"It's the truth!"

"Where's your proof?"
