Veronica arrived after her students, wearing dark glasses and carrying what might possibly be the largest mug of coffee ever invented. A wee bit too much sake last night? Quite possibly. She pointedly did not look at Cally, Al or Stark.

"Um, here's handouts," she said, shoving the stack at someone to pass out to the rest of the class. "We're learning about night photography. You can go to the astronomy workshop tonight if you want to know what you're taking pictures of. I don't have a lecture, so just read at your leisure. I also can't stand the smell of chemicals this morning, so you're on your own in the darkroom. When you're all done in there, you can come back out and brainstorm for next week's prompts."

As soon as they headed in to the darkroom, Veronica put her head down. She realized that was a bad idea when the room started spinning. Why had she drunk so much sake last night?

The coffee helped her feel marginally better by the time her students were done in the darkroom (so did a couple trips to the little girls room).

"Okay, brainstorming. This week's prompts are Star, Shadow and Sad. Discuss."

Veronica really hoped no one wanted to talk to her after class, because all she wanted to do was go back to bed.

"Thank god. But you did for mine," Cameron countered.

It took Veronica a minute to remember what Cameron's was.

Then she blushed and averted her eyes.

"Um, yeah."

Cameron held up a hand. "Not that it's any of my business. Changing subject now..."

"Yeah, subject changing is good," Veronica agreed. "I assume you made it back to your room safely?"

"I stubbed my toe," he deadpanned.

"Aw poor baby," she rolled her eyes and ow, that hurt. "I think I bruised my shoulder because I kept banging into the wall. I'm just glad I didn't fall down the stairs."

"Ow, you should have looked for back up to get you back in one piece," Cameron winced.

"Archie was just as stumbly," Veronica pointed out.

"He's Navy. That's natural when they're on land," Cameron teased.

Veronica laughed and immediately regretted it, clutching her head. "You're not allowed to be funny when I feel like someone is running a jackhammer in my skull."

"Sorry, ma'am. It won't happen again," Cameron said, not looking sorry at all.

Veronica glared. That hurt way less than laughing.

Cameron saluted her. "Don't kill the one who brings you coffee."

"Oh yeah," she finally remembered the cup in her hand and lifted it to take a drink. "Okay, you're forgiven for making me laugh."

"You're too kind," he grinned.

"I try."

He shook his head. "I think I'm going to go grab lunch now. Good luck with the hang over."

Veronica grimaced at the thought of food. "I think I'm going to crawl in my bed and die now."

"Give us a call if you need someone to keep you from bumping into things," Cameron teased.

Veronica squinted at him. "Us? I only see one of you. There might have been two last night though."

"Me and myself. We're inseperable," he explained.
