Basketball Practice - Gym - Sunday Morning

With another game in just a few weeks, Peter didn't think he could start setting up basketball practice early enough. Which might explain why it was he was trying to wake himself up with fancy dribbling drills. It wasn't the dribbling that was waking him up, but chasing the ball all over the gym after losing control of it.

"I thought I'd spend this week working on other stuff - hand to hand and some archery, but now I'm just remembering what a bad idea that is," Peter said, shaking his head at himself. "What about you?"

"Well," Anders hedged, "I guess you could say I was sort of cross-training. Just not in the right ways."

[OOC: Absolutely!]

Peter grinned slightly. "Hopefully you had fun at least?"

"Can't deny that," Anders admitted. "Did you? With the working on other stuff, I mean?"

"I got my sister a bow so she could shoot again," Peter said. "It was definitely worth it."

"Did you?" Anders grinned. "That's awesome, man. Is she really good at it?"

Peter smiled proudly. "She's the best I've ever seen. She's not shot a bow in several years here, but at home? She's legendary."

"Wow. I'd like to see her on the range sometime," Anders replied, impressed and touched by Peter's obvious pride in his sister.

"We'll have to see if we can talk her into it," Peter said with a nod.

"Oh. Well, no pressure if, you know, she doesn't want to," Anders replied quickly. "But still, that's really cool, man."

"I don't really know," Peter admitted. "My Susan will shoot at tournaments and such, but this one is almost twenty years older than mine. So..."
