Basketball Practice - Gym - Sunday Morning

With another game in just a few weeks, Peter didn't think he could start setting up basketball practice early enough. Which might explain why it was he was trying to wake himself up with fancy dribbling drills. It wasn't the dribbling that was waking him up, but chasing the ball all over the gym after losing control of it.

"Define untoward," Peter said, raising an eyebrow.

"Just anything that might leave you with a deepseated desire for revenge."

Zack Addy, master of subtley.

"What are you trying to get revenge for?" Peter asked, cutting to the chase.

"I'm still bruised from our last 'training session'," Zack replied.

"She's training you and you're trying to get revenge for it?" Peter said. "Remind me never to offer to teach you swordwork."

"No, she's trying to punish me and make it look like she's doing me a favour."

"So don't let her?" Peter replied, not entirely sure why Zack was putting up with it. He grinned. "What are you thinking of for revenge."

"She's got Cordy on side," Zack muttered, as if that made it obvious. "I feel I should return the favour and demonstrate the value of having a secure computer system."

"If you talked Cordy onto your side, maybe the problem would be solved? And you don't think she does already?" Peter asked. "Isn't she friends with Bridge?" He paused. "She's not a fan of waking up early in the morning."

"Friends with Bridge?" Zack totally didn't start getting any ideas. "She doesn't?"

Peter shrugged. "Apparently Bridge is very good with computers? So I'd assume if Parker's friends with him, then he's probably helped her with a good system? We've gone running a few times before workshops. She's really never happy about being up that early. Threats have been made."

"Interesting," Zack replied. "What time do you go running?"

"Sunrise," Peter said. "Though, really, you know what would probably frustrate her more without causing more revenge being necessary."

"No I don't," Zack said. "What?"

"Find someone else to give you lessons. Then you can get Cordy on your side by explaining that you were still learning, and Parker has nowhere to go on the matter," Peter replied. He wasn't entirely sure Parker would take that lying down, but it was worth a short.

"But that defeats the point of revenge."

"Is revenge really the point?" Peter asked.

"Yes."

Peter shook his head. "Then I'll keep my silly logic far, far away."
